Ok, not sure where to post this, but im sure it will get moved.

What cell phones do we all have, Do we like them? If so what do we like about them? If not, why not?

Being in Canada, I have Rogers. I have currently a nokia 6101 and I love it. Just switched from a Samsung P.O.S.... boy am I glad to see that Nokia is making flip phones again.

Pros: nice size, dual color displays, camera, WITH video and night mode. and awesome battery life.

Cons: I dont like the games, and nokia has the krappiest ringers out there.

Now ive owned about 90 cellphones now ( I worked in the buisness for 4 years), so lets hear what everyone else has to say.

I am a traitor to the cause. Up until last week, I was a staunch supporter of the "mobiles are more trouble than they're worth" camp, and had steadfastly/stubbornly refused to get one. Finally a direct order from my mother to get one for emergencies resulted in a pilgrimage to the nearest phone shop, Phones4U. I told them I wanted a PAYG with no features at all; they talked me into getting a Motorola V975 on the Three Talk and Text 600 contract (£5/month for a year, 500mins and 100texts). I took it back after finding it wouldn't sync with my Mac at all; they talked me into exchanging it for a Nokia 6680 on the same contract. After going round town to buy a Bluetooth USB adaptor, and intending to get more memory cards, I think I'll keep this one.
Pros: awsome contract, free brousing Three website, fun features, good 2Mp camera. :D
Cons: still learning how to use the little rotter, it won't sync properly so I have to do complicated "send file" stuff, and I can't send big things because they land in the phone memory rather than the memory card. Oh yeah, and Nokia say it has built-in games, but since it's on Three, I have to buy them, and I don't like any of the Three games

I find that not having a mobile is a very liberating and satisfying experience. I absolutely love it when people cannot call me :)

Mine is not switched on, not charged, and has not been seen for years... it is an Ericsson SH888

I have a Treo 600 smartphone. The only reason I use it is because I used to have a separate palm handheld, and it was annoying having a separate cellphone. So I put them into one device. I like the keyboard, which makes entering data and SMS chat easy. I also like how I can keep my palm applications on it, and add and remove games. The screen is ok.

What I don't like is that in order to add ringtones, I have to subscribe to the internet/e-mail plan, which is an extra $20 a month. Also, I have to constantly wipe the screen because my sweat gets on it when I speak. I can avoid this, however, using the handsfree earpiece.

I own a Nokia 3100.

I wish I could own a more sophisticated one, but in Brazil that's too risky. Too many robberies.

I hesitated to get a phone untill I was 18. Didn't really see the need for it and it costed to much.

So for my 18th birthday I got (among other things ofc) a Nokia 3410. Quite plain, but no complaints.

In January this year I decided to get a new one:

:D

It's great! Now I just need some gauging devices to connect to it and I got myself a Tricorder!

I used to work got a company doing tech support, for Kyocera 7135's. They are the same sort of thing as the Treo. But Bell sucks and Telus is worse.

NEC 616V. 3G on Three network.

It's not a great phone (nasty habit of cutting signal just as you make a call) but it's nice having bundled access to Reuters and email as well. And I really do use the Calender and Notebook in it.

Well, I'm still fighting the good fight.

I'm proud to say...NONE! I will lick my nards before I become some corporate whore and pay 35 bucks a month for a near useless service.

SonyEricsson T610. It's got a little joystick thingie.

I have no working cell phone. My non-working cell phone is a broken one I found in peices by the side of the road and taped together.

Same as Dr Yoshi above. I'll be upgrading too, 1st half of next yr; getting a big discount as I renew my 2 yr plan with my current provider then.

Probably will get the K700, or maybe even K750 (which can play MP3). :)

Perfection...I really hate to break this to you...but, erm...that's a banana.

My phone meanwhile is a...Sony. That's all I know, and to be honest, I only know that because someone told me. I rarely use it, for crying out loud!
