megalomano, you're obviously arguing just to argue. i've been trying to avoid comparisons because i don't want this to be a, "my country is better than yours" thing, but you seem to really want that. so, here goes:
-there are tons of native influences on american culture, especially in food. mexico hasn't done anything with aztec culture that america hasn't done with the culture of our natives. and we have a lot more different diverse groups, so more diverse influences.
-nobody said anything about the rest of the world being slaves and wanting to come here, except for you. but, for some reason, mexicans really do seem to want to come here. illegal immigration from mexico is a huge problem, so much so that states are making controversial laws about it. mexico's economy even depends on people sending money back from here.
-immigrants have kids and their kids aren't immigrants anymore. once you get about 3 or 4 generations down the line, there's even less influence from the old country. most people are these descendants of immigrants, so it would only make sense that most things are done by people who aren't immigrants. obviously, this also happens in mexico, but you don't seem to understand that. and,
-for some reason, you seem to be completely against change. i'm sure mexican culture has undergone tons of changes since the days of the aztecs and the spanish explorers. these changes are just as much part of mexican culture, maybe more. it's the same here, except we're better known for it.
anyway, this is getting beyond annoying. you can have your own opinion of the usa, that's fine. it just doesn't have to be so negative and closed-minded. and yes, an american just called you closed-minded.
