Maybe its a morbid way of yourself telling, well, yourself, to go on fun rampages regardless of life expentency.

Sick.It is a rather old condition symptomatic of "electra-complex.":mischief: :p

ok, i'll throw this in...
this happened to me only once. i was dreaming i was on a street between two rows of houses with more houses facing me at the far end. somehow, i became aware of the fact that i was dreaming, and decided to try controlling my movements in the dream. i thought ' i'll go to that house over there', but suddenly felt very nauseous trying. that ended that very quickly.

My dreams usually have an interesting juxposition of the surreal and reality. The last two were really odd, both were what I call nightmares.

The first one involved this awesomely awesome 24-hour party at school, which somehow turned into this mega mall-esque structure on the inside. This is the second time for a dream of mine to host thier same structure at school. But that's not the nightmare. For some reason, I go home mid-afternoon of the party, to discover several hours later that the party is still going on. For some reason I'm trapped. I try mutiple escape attempts but they all thwarted by a mysterious force.

In the second one, I can't get to sleep. And that's it. It's not until late the next morning that I realize it was a dream.

I don't remember the exact details but while i was dreaming i thought : I would like this to happen and it did.

Without closing your eyes you can still have random imagination thoughts similar to dreams . You can again try to imagine something ... Hence my opinion of dreams : It is just your imagination while you are asleep.

A very interesting dream was this : I was sleeping in a hotel room and my cousin and my aunt was sleeping also in that room. While i was dreaming i was seeing us moving in our room and each object seemed to be like it was before. Am i dreaming or aren't I ? That thought started to worry me after a while. I throwed down a vase so that i could wake up and finally find out that i was dreaming.

The craziest dream I have ever had was when I was knocked out for a dental operation. The dream involved me being on a huge bubble, with bubble-people chasing me with spears, and us going round and round the bubble. The sky was full of bubble worlds as well.

Can't work out what it means, other than I do now have a fondness for the word 'bubble' and those little bubble mixture blowing things.

Now don't anybody take this as an attack, but can you think of anything more boring than listening to someone else tell you about their dream? Sure, there are exceptions, but most of the time... :ack: ...we need a yawn smilie.

I think dreams are a minfestation of your regular thought patterm, since I got a new puppy, she has been waking me up freequently during the night and thus I have been remembering a lot more dreams lately, the most recent one I can remember was very odd indeed, and I cant seem to get it to fit in any into that little interpret box.

The dream started of in the game starcraft, but there was lots of made up buildings, and it was from teh games normal perspective minus the interface, The terran base(these bases were huge BTW) was under attack, and an engineer was sent out to go and take over a terran building that was all destroyed and ravaged off in the distance away from the battle. The view followed the engineer all the way to the building and as soon as he entered, it went to a reali life like scenario, and I was a guy with a sniper rifle going around teh building with some other people just checking the place out. But it was bizzare, the building was trashed but what makes it so wierd and distrurbing is the fact that all over hte building in every room, there were bathtubs with dead women and children in them, the water they were in waqs muddy so as to obscure them, but they were leaned back hanging out of the bathtubs, it seriously freaked me out, I wonder if I hae drams like this all th etime.

Dream interpretation is a product of psychoanalysis, which has been thoroughly discredited long ago. Freud believed that dreams were a reflection of the unconscious, and so could be useful to ascertain a person's underlying feelings that they may repress. More modern research suggests that dreams are merely attempts by the brain to organize the day's memories.

Just when I was going to tell you about my beautiful, moving, touching, sweet and delightful dream... :(

Go ahead. It could be an exception.

I dunno, knowing that most of the time you get bored I wouldn't want to potentially bore you... chances aren't in my favor.

...and it maybe had in it you and me and sitting in a tree..... like elves!

well, maybe not but ah well, now I can never share the experience.

MY one was that I was going to a theme park and I had a great time (in the short space of a few rushed minutes for some reason) and it was on a school day and I kept wondering why I wasn't at school and sometimes the dream turned into my house and I'd walk around. Eventually we left for home and my mother commented how tomorrow I would go back to school and I should enjoy my day off.
I always get dreams about real life.

Another time I had a dream that I was playing Tiberium Wars in the Nod level where I had to defend Temple Prime. I went to bed that day without finishing the level, the Nod traitors set up their bases and I had removed some of their defences before it was late at night and I had to sleep.
I kept dreaming about sending Vertigo Bombers over and some Avatar Warmechs or Stealth Tanks or something over and destroying those bases.

Next morning, I woke up, got to my computer, loaded up my game and I just bombed the enemies to death with the Vertigos. Almost a vision of things to come. What might they mean though, dreams about real life?

What I wanna know is what it means if you don't really ever have dreams.

I'm pretty sure it means that you have them but don't remember when you wake up. Happens to me all the time. From what I recall not having dreams isn't supposed to happen.
