Coincidentally, I've taught them to play Magic too. I like to think that I convert a few open-minded girls to nerddom. Makes me happy because I was one of those angsty teens who were afraid of girls and liked computers. Now they like computers and are afraid of me.

Dated and failed horribly for a few years during my teens, now I don't fail as horribly anymore and it feels strange when it's sometimes them who make mistakes or are uninteresting.

Everyone knows each other so well! Now I'll take a crack at saying what I know people for even though I pretty much don't know anyone seriously! This should be fun.
Dachs: The final say in anything historical (I always lurk history threads till Dachs posts so I can learn more) Also has gotten to the point where I associate Dachs as the name of the person pictured in Dachs's avatar rather than the actual name even though its in Dachs's sig.
CivGeneral: Only person I actually could follow in the DYOS threads.
Lord_Joakim: Current avatar managed to get me interested enough to find out where its from and then enjoy the hours of reading that webcomic

Domination3000: My initial impression was just another outspoken conservative however Dom's managed to allow me to actually look at conservative arguments and see them as something I should respect and always consider on par with liberal ones even if I don't always agree with them.
