What is the Meaning of Your CFC User Name?

Gah didn't realize how old this was. I helped necro this.

Still an interesting thread nonetheless :)

Anyhoo, my name is Joe, I have an inflated sense of how cool I am, and the yo is there to make sure people realize that I don't smoke.

I chose my username because it was one of my favorite characters in a book and I thought it sounded cool.

My name is Erik, and I chose the prefix "mecha-" (note that its lowercase) for reasons unknown. I've called myself that for quite a while and forgot its origins. :)

Omnomnomnomnonomnomnomnomnomnonomnom! :D It's self explanatory really.

Mine was named after the East-India-Man (Dutch UU in BtS) as it´s awesome in RFC. I´m from what Euros would have called the West Indies (Brazil).

My namesake, Owain Glyndŵr. My parents named me Owen, however, because they were fearful that people wouldn't know how to pronounce Owain (o-WINE), and so went with the anglicized Owen, which is why I use it in my username.

Back in 2007 (when I joined CFC), I played a lot as Huayna Capac. And 357 is a random number sequence that means nothing (AFAIK).

Philippine Flying Lemur's scientific name is Cynocephalus volans.

Why did I choose a flying lemur? Cuz they're awesome.

its the tallest mountain in Australia
its polish
its misspelled... as on most maps pre 1997
don't know where the one came from, but in keeping with the tradition of misspelling
it sort of encapsulates my love of Australian English

Note: Popular misspellings of the name Kosciuszko National Park include Kosciusko, Kosciuzko, Koziusko, Kosiosko, Koscusko, Kociosko and Kociusko

name of a Tool song. I also have a reason for using part of my user name, but I won't get into that here.

My initials plus a weapon from a RPG.

The specific RPG is kind of embarrassing - Runescape

A variation of Reisen, a WWII Japanese plane, most popularly known as the Zero.

I'm not Japanese at all, it just sounded cool. :)
