Who else noticed that Fifty thinks he speaks every language?

I don't like your tone. Ask me anything in any language I voted on and I'd be happy to respond with absolute fluency. For the record, the languages I voted "Other" for are Hungarian, Portugese, and Sami.

PS: the fact that you think those listed constitute "every" language shows how little you know about languages.

English, Tagalog, and 2 variants of Chinese: Mandarin and Hokkien.

Hokkien might as well be a separate language since some words doen't even have a Kanji equivalent. :lol:

I'd prefer to do that over AIM/MSN/ICQ/Y!M or whatever, but let's try.

Korleis skal ein seie på engelsk at grauten er for het og kan ikkje etast?

Dersom me tenkjer oss at statskyrkja bør avvikles, kossen meiner du det burde gjørast?

If you can give me a good answer on these you won me over. And are the women good looking and easy? Is the wine good?
Good looking : yes, but we have some ugly to. One thing: France has much less overweight than US or UK. Easy : I don't know. What I read or heard about your spring break, I would say they are not as easy as yours. When I read about your "no sex before marriage", I would say they are much easier.
And the wine is the best in the world, or so they say, I don't drink alcohol.

And I suspect France has not been the first touristic destination in the world for years for nothing

Kanji as in the same thing the Japanese uses along with Hiragana and Katakana?

English is my native tongue, but I can also speak a bit of French, Latvian and Welsh.

Sort of. Same origin anyways. We pronounce it Han-zi (汉字) but I said Kanji because Westerners are more familiar with Japanese rather than Chinese.

Centuries ago it was a semi- "common script" throughout China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam.

Ok but it will have to go right after Spain and Italy. Im getting about tired of the france bashing anyways. WWII was 50 years ago.

A frenchman without wine? I assume your a small minority. That or Leno dosent know everything.

:eek:

That's like a Filipino (or a German) saying he doesn't drink beer. I now doubt your authenticity as a Frenchman.

No wonder the Japanese Characters 漢字 (Romanized: Kanji), means litteraly "Han characters".

Somehow when I saw that character "字", I was like "I have see that somewhere before".

Well sheesh what do you do?! :eek:

@CivGeneral
汉字 and 漢字 are one and the same. The former is Simplified and the latter is Traditional font. :goodjob:

Can be pronounced a myriad of ways. Han-zi (Mandarin), Han-di (Hokkien), Hon-chi (Cantonese), Kanji (Japanese) etc.

@Steph
Your wife is very lucky. She must be very thankful. :D
