Saw more Sopranos and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Aguirre, The Wrath of God...

One of the best films i've ever seen i think... Werner Hertzog made this a masterpiece...

I think thats Children of men you are looking for there Vind...

Anyone seen The Wickerman? My dad threw a fit over that movie and stormed out of the house because he thought my sister, who picked the movie out to watch, actually agreed with it...

I really like that film. Dunno if any of yous guys like to watch commentary tracks, but the two-disc edition of The Wicker Man has an excellent track with Lee and Woodward (note so self: watch it again).

Aguirre, The Wrath of God...

That's a fantastic film...such an eerie atmosphere.

I saw Anger Management last weekend. Always avoided the movie since I feared that even Jack Nickelson would not be able to make up for Adam Sandler.

I will never doubt Jack again.

I saw "the devil wears prada" last night. dont ask long story, my mom came over so...

no movie ever made me wanna hurt people like that movie did. :vomit:

so now you know, next time someone goes apecrap and starts shooting random people, it wasnt marilyn mansons fault, or any computer game, it was "the devil wears prada"!!

:vomit:

Fright Night, possibly the best vampire movie of the 80's. I hadn't seen it since I was a teenager, but still greatly appreciated this horror-comedy.

Saw Children of Men yesterday. It was good, though not quite worthy it's hype. Good acting, very nice camera work. I didn't appreciate the leftist meassages in there, but thankfully there wasn't too much of them. 4/5.

I saw Children of Men two days ago and I have to say it really was a crappy movie.

Derivitave, preachy, crap characters, annoying characters, stupid plot, just overall a waste of time and money.

Clive Owen and Michael Caine held their own, which was a shame considering they got shafted by a crap script and a dumbass director. The camera work was also nice, but what good is how nice something looks when what you're looking at is crap?

1.5/5

saw Across 110th Street last night.
top notch blaxploitation!
Zorba becomes a racist cop, all the robbers get killed by the mob, and all the mob guys get killed by the cops.

the black lt, Yafet, gets out clean!
:goodjob:, and a classic!

I saw Alien 1. Previously i had seen Alien 4 and parts of 3.

I think that Gigger's art did not mix with the rest of the movie that well, and they did not focus much on it either. Also the robot bit of the plot seemed quite out of place, particularly in a movie where it was left pretty much unused (it was exploited in the other films of the series of course).

Also i found the "perfect organism" idea to not be particularly appealing, since afterall the alien was not much more than a predator. Most of the film would have worked with a predator from earth as well, in that respect.

Maybe you should do as Ziggy - watch Anger Management...

:p

I needed to watch the exorcist by the end of the devil-prada movie. that was one positively hellish experience.. :satan:

folks, if youre gonna watch this movie you should know a few things about it, first of all its not a comedy (i thought it was), its a drama about the importance of the fashion industry. do what you like.

Just saw disneys (pixars? who knows?) Cars, its another one of those computer animated family movies, complete with celebrity voices.

it wouldve been a decent movie if it wasnt for larry the cable guy doing the voice over for the tow truck (huge character in the movie) i wouldve overlooked that, but they just had to include his famous tagline: "git er done".

that did it for me. stay away from this movie.

I saw The Devil Wears Prada, I thought it was . . . interesting. Made me feel a lot better about wearing cheap generic clothing, I tell you what.

I saw Underworld a while ago, right after seeing The Ring. I think the second movie helped me deal with the first; I was only terrified every night for one year, instead of longer, for having seen the former.
