WARNING: WEIRD QUESTION COMING UP. DO NOT READ IF EVERYTHING PISSES YOU OFF!

We all know that body parts that are considered sexy are tabooed to be shown in public and scrambled on tv, so what percentage of the population do you think would have to have foot fetishes in order for bare feet to be taboo and feet to be scambled on tv? Vote and discuss.

Weird question.

Indeed, that's why I posted this thread.

It is not so much a matter of what percentage of the population would have foot-fetishes but how vocal this population would be against public display full footal nudity.

Actually, feet on TV would be taboo after the first story of some pretty young white girl getting foot-raped is spread by the media.

So I voted 0-5%.

if everyone likes to get jerked off, should everybody wear gloves on tv?

So even if everyone would get a excited on feet, we are so used to see them in common life, and it has been that way for so long, that it would never be censored.

I had a girlfriend (girl who was my friend) who had a SEVERE foot fetish. I think if we had 20,000,000 of those people, it would have to be considered at least...

I'll say around 15%, don't know if thats 20,000,000 but I don't feel like doing the math :p

Are we assuming all else is equal, that is, that people still go barefoot on the beach and I walk around in my house without shoes on? Because in that case, I don't think it would be an issue; art would continue to realistically imitate life.

I would say if 10% of evangelical leaders had a secret foot fetish, then there would be a call for censorship.

Well that too, but it was mainly the legs. In fact, the Victorians were so convinced that young men would go into a sexual frenzy from seeing bare legs that they became convinced that the rule applied not just to women's legs, but also to furniture legs. And thus, the tableskirt was born.

what's more important is that there should be no malice to it
as long as it's kept in its proper context, no problems
...aside of course from the really messed up people... no censorship is going to cure that... they need rehab or something

I don't understand the question.

I viewed the question from the angle that a foot FETISH is considering feet inherently sexual, like boobs, penises, and for that matter bare arses. In that case, I'd go with 20-30%. Typically the magic number is 33%, but I felt that 30-50 was too broad a category...
