The only good fundamentalist is the fundamentalist atheist :goodjob:

I'm a humanist. Not really a religion, but it has a similar role.

I'm an atheist

Well, in my case, it means you don't believe in god or the supernatural. There are some things that everyone has to assume in order to do anything (for example, how do you know you're at a keyboard? You could be in some kind of pod like in the Matrix). So, apart from assuming that I exist, I don't 'believe' in anything. I only know or don't know things (well, and reckon some things are true, but I never say that they must be true)

Some religions don't have a god.
True. Buddhism doesn't have gods, as far as I know. It's almost a philosophy, rather than a religion, except for the whole re-incarnation and nirvana thing.

Don't these polls usually have in the range of 45% athiest? Bit of a drop there.

Its a secret conspiracy that the religious posters are secretly converting these atheists to believe in God. ;)

The European posters haven't struck at full force yet, it'll rise.

Odd... not a single muslim or Sikh has voted...

It's been almost 24 hours already, although that is still early days I guess.

It's not like it's a popularity contest or anything though.

But we do lead interesting lives, and we enjoy living. So that should tell you that you're not seeing the world the same way we see it. You can question what's wrong with your assumptions, if your conclusion is that we don't lead interesting lives.

And if someone says that atheists don't have a 'point' to living, you can know they're wrong - because we clearly do. The person informing you about atheism would then be wrong, because they haven't thought through it either.

Why would they visit OT ? (muslims)
I dunno if we have any sikh around ...

I've actually never seen a sikh and very few muslims. (of course, except when I was in Turkey) I find it normal that they didn't vote...

officially I'm a protestand christian, but my 'belief' if you can call it such is agnosticism :)

often there's only the atheist choice, so many agnostics (like me) vote for atheism then :)
