Well, those pop stars have next to zero talent. The 90s had similar phenomena, though imo the 90s analogue featured better looking girls, and with at least somewhat more talent too (J.Lo, Aguilera etc), but also some cringe, like Ace of Base (in fact loads of cringe, Venga Boys and others).

Taylor Swift, "Aryan Goddess" has an unpopular year, some blacks are still kicking, nevermind big-name people like, yes, Katy Perry and Adele are still kicking, then all hell breaks loose and it's white genocide. I'm sure at some level they can try to blame the Jews for Adele losing her voice because of witchcraft.
Then you have social justice media giving them a mile, so they can take a million miles.The rhetoric escalates exponentially. All in all, one thing and one thing only is for sure: Adele crushes Swift in sales.
If you visit sites or hang out with people who see Taylor Swift as some sort of Aryan goddess, this means you are hanging out in the same places as Nazis. Only they go there for inspiration, you go there to fuel your outrage. What is sure is that no normal person will ever come across an association of teen idol Taylor Swift to an Aryan goddess. I certainly never read anything about her other than what you would expect from an odorless, bland, mildly annoying teen idol.

Oh right, now i remember. Yeah, i sort of spaced on that. I spaced on most episodes after the whole "milk" thing, i guess.
But i can't help but find it weird. Largely because Ms. Swift is such a bad fit in terms of body type.
I mean, Christ, in the Nazi gaze of, say, '36, Ms. Swift would, at best, have qualified as a pityable Dickensian harlot. Likely lusher hindparts would have been deemed necessary for the "birthing of a new master race" or some such errant nonsense.
Come to think of it, Adele looks sufficiently Wagnerian, i suppose.

When on your birthday you tweet that the last year was a great one, you just mean that in your own life your 27th year was a good one. You're not undertaking to say that the year 2017 was a good year for everyone in the United States and world.
Even Taylor Swift is allowed, on her birthday, to be grateful for how her past year has gone for her.

I think you hit the nail on the head. What you (we, us, uns) are witnessing is enthusiasm outpacing sensibility. Kids upset things didn't turn out as promised, old people upset the world is changing. That's how you get kids trying to assert Taylor "Aryan" Swift is their savior on the one hand, and kids arguing sexism means not enough women are dictators on the other. Meanwhile the old folks are baffled that the "third world" is able to produce economic output, and think a wall is a good method to stop airplanes. What is there to be done except move along?
