So did I. I think. I never played it again after I played it the first time, but I remember not thinking it was bad.

Unfortnately, getting it to run properly on Windows 10 is...nearly impossible. I managed to get it to actually launch, but it crashes to desktop constantly.

These are the donuts to my Homer Simpson, you can't do this to me when I accept a position…
Aimee, does GOG let you gift games directly to people across regions or did it go the way of Steam where they claim they can't change pricing based on a user's region and you have to buy gift cards instead?
You… can just use the same installer. Upload it to a temporary hosting service. Or, if you live for the thrill, share a password if it's somebody you trust and can beat up IRL if they double-cross you.
There's also people who devote themselves to buying games on GoG and then uploading the installer permanently to publicly available servers.

But Morty, what if I don't want to go to the hospotal? ;)

I know a guy, who knows a guy, who went to the hostptithal once

I'm actually looking at getting some core mods for Skyrim Special Edition running and then playing a game
Hey...you...you're finally awake?

Not exactly a game, but I've been playing around with Google Earth's flight simulator. At least twice I managed to crash the plane before leaving the runway. And then when I do get into the air I'm constantly spinning around and doing barrel rolls.

I'm an excellent pilot! :smug:

In a pinch, there's a simple way to share games on GOG. Just re-buy the games as a gift for your own email address and then pass on the game keys to your designated person. You can then check your order list to see if your gift has been redeemed or not.

Must be the same guy that showed me his hotspotality once.
We've watched a review of Fallout 76 by a time traveler back in 2010 :D

I finally got all the Skyrim mods working, but at about midnight I found out that there's a better weather mod than the one I'm using and I'll have to change the ENB for that as well...my GPU is being 99 or 100% used (according to task manager) by the "Performance" ENB preset in the current ENB mod, but the framerate seems to be fine so I'm not gonna worry about it.

Alright, a little further into The Outer Worlds, and it does seem like concentrating on non-combat skills doesn't leave you stranded. The dialogue skills actually provide some combat benefits, which is a little weird, but I guess it works if you don't think about it too hard. You can also pick up a couple of companions pretty quickly, so you can get some firepower if you need it.

This game is very Firefly, for anyone who was into that show.

Modding Skyrim is a "game" on it's own. I have often found that modding Bethesda games like Oblivion, Skyrim, FO 3 gave me more pleasure than actually playing them. When they were all polished up and ready to go I usually lost interest at that point .

I can't wait to play it but I had to go to bed because now I'm at work...it's gonna be a long day

I should see if there's any CC ones.
In the Sims 4, you can "install bidet" as an upgrade, which improves hygiene.

I've seen some places have a bidet as like a separate thing, but here you typically will see them installed inside the bowl, with a control console on the side.

I love that game. Also got the Firefly vibes (and you have a preacher and a criminal doctor in your party).
Despite being funny, it's much bleaker than I expected. Did expect corporate rule be portrayed as quite so oppressive and downright totalitarian. The lengths these people will go to for some damned improved diet toothpaste...

Yay, just finished X-Wing Tour V Mission 14, which has been eluding me for a couple of weeks now (flying an X-Wing, cover for B-Wings and Transports running a capture-mission on an Imperial Frigate).

I'd already come close, with several attempts even getting as far as capturing the FRG and holding off the last group of attackers (Gunboat squadron Tau, and the 2 Corvettes they're escorting) long enough for it to escape -- but both times I then got captured/ killed by the GUNs or CRVs, before I could hyper away myself.

This time I managed to destroy 2 waves of Tau-GUNs (3 ships per wave), and almost got one of the CRVs as well. I put 4 torps into it when it first appeared, and lasered it down to "Hull damage" after the first Tau-wave was gone, but the second wave distracted me long enough for both CRVs to hyper out again (should probably have fired 5 torps into CRV 1 in the first place -- or even all 6).

(Also just finished all of October's daily Minesweeper challenges, but that's nothing new or exciting; I usually only fail to do this when I'm on away from home over the end of a month)

I've been playing the "Four Days of Night" seasonal/easter egg mission in The Long Dark, and it seems like an intentionally confounding troll mission. I mean the first three days are super easy to survive because of the wacky food/light source rules. You just grab a handful of candy bars, flares, make a fire and a bunch of torches and you can literally wait out the first three days in the house or gas station without having to so much as see a single demon wolf... Seemed simple enough...

But then on the last day, you literally cannot warm up unless you drink hot tea/coffee nonstop AND stand directly next to a lit fire. If you so much as step away from the fire to collect firewood... BAM, your temp drops to zero in 30 seconds and then your health plummets to zero and you die of hypothermia. WTH?!?:shake:

Yeah, I missed the first two nights, and I knew I'd never make it, so I didn't bother to start it last night. It's a bummer, I was kinda looking forward to it. Oh, well. We'll get 'em next year.

Yeah, next year I guess what I'll have to do is spend the first night stockpiling wood. I was foolishly going around looting for food thinking I would run out... not realizing that in FDON one candybar is a whole day worth of food. You only need to get 5 - candy bars and you're set.

I found this video from Just Cause 2 (recorded on my old computer) in my videos folder.

I am an excellent pilot.
