The scenario is basically the movie Groundhog's Day. You wake up at 6am. It seems like just another normal day in your life but when you go to bed that night and wake up again, it's not tomorrow, but 6am that same day. All the clocks in the world say it's the same date. All the same events repeat themselves. All the people and animals do exactly the same thing, blissfully unaware of this time loop. The only variable is you. You are aware of the time loop. You remember the events of the previous days. You can change your actions, which in turn can cause new causal chains of events to form, but those get reset at 6am like everything else.

What do you do?

I have my opinion what I'd do and I'll probably post it later, but I'd like to see what people come up with first.

....time is a flat circle. All your love, all your pain, all your hate, you'll feel it all again, and at the end, there's a monster waitin'....

Make myself a more appealing romantic partner for Andie MacDowell.

Ah, who'm I kiddin? Play Civ.

Catch up on a backlog of great movies I never gave myself time to see because I was too busy enjoying myself playing games. Groundhog's Day almost never made it out of that backlog list if I wasn't bedridden last month for three days and I happened to catch it on day time cable TV. What a gem of a movie!
There's a dark secret about my backlog...I never saw Tolkien's magnum opus proficiently turned into movie, for my redemption I did read The Hobbit.

There is a nice short story by Borges, the Secret Miracle, where someone is allowed to live out of time until they finish (in their mind) their literary work.
They aren't exactly a ghost, however - as they still are alive back in the real world; time has stopped.

What's every game on steam ×10k hours?

Might forget the ones you mastered by the time the last wraps back around.

We've no less days to sing God's praise Than when we'd first begun
Doesn't sound entirely terrible. The empty stage terrifies me more.

Sorry to hijack a bit this thread, but that makes me think about my favourite quote in the Groundhog Day.

Phil: What would you do if you were stuck in one place and every day was exactly the same, and nothing that you did mattered?
Ralph: That about sums it up for me.

I don't see how what he would do in normal conditions would "matter", apart from in a very limited sense.
On the other hand, if you became immortal - even at the expense of living in 'the same day' - you very realistically could amass more knowledge than the rest of humanity, given enough time.

You have to watch the movie to see the way it matters to the Bill Murray character. I hinted at it in my first response.

It doesn't help that I don't like Bill Murray. He has the reputation of being a bully to some of his co-stars - can't say if true.
Still, he isn't the worst mono-mono-ray. Jim Carrey has him beat.

Ha, ha, ha... This is the 5,879th day I've replied to this thread. Anyway, time to post the usual:
