So now that the last two civs have been confirmed and many other details have been filled in, I thought it might be good to keep a list of things we have yet to learn.
I'll start with:

- What exactly does a Chateau UI do?
- How exactly have the old SP trees been changed?
- Can you buy buildings or just units in Venice puppets?

Fill in any others that you can think of.

What tweaks existing Civs got.

Venice can purchase buildings. They said it on the livestream. The quote was "They can purchase units, they can purchase buildings," which doesn't leave much room for interpretation.

It seems that Venice can only purchase units in their puppets, not buildings according to that article from FB.

That is not what the article said. Mentioning that Venice can build a large army by purchasing units in its puppets in no way says that units are the only thing they can purchase. It was a statement about their ability to build armies, not a comprehensive list of everything they can do with their puppets.

The wording left some uncertainty, didn't it?

That one was answered in the live-steam and should shortly make its way into the "What we know"-thread

Beach said there may be a couple more he forgot. There might be some minor changes to other civs as well.

What's left to know is by far the most important part of the game - the strategies and how the AI will be able to play. We obviously won't know this until after release but despite how each of the new civs and mechanics look on paper, the true knowledge comes in how all of the elements, new and old, will work together.

Because we already have Silver, Gems, Gold and Salt. Do we need another mining luxury?

And Copper.

So, to answer your question: no. More luxuries would be interesting, but only from a flavour point of view.
