Whats the green ball next to my name for?

I noticed there is a greenish ball next to my name, what is it for?

It shows that you, or anybody else whose post you are reading, are online.

If you switch to another skin, it transforms to something else. Like for me, it's the word "Online" in blue, or "Offline" in grey.

And this should go under Site Feedback.

So (unless you have hidden mode), it will be always green near your name. If you post, you have to be online.

It's a camera, so that TF can moniter users in thier own homes.

I remember there was a program that was showing a lot of text like "We will convert your display into a camera, and we will take you a picture......" And if you clicked "Capture" a photo of an unbelievable stupid baby appeared, and you were shown the message: "How could you ever believe such sh*t?".
