Sorry about any pain that caused . I voted above average. Whilst I might not agree with many people here about a lot of things (either the left or right wingers, and TBH I disagree with almost all of them when it comes to politics) they can at least come up with arguments to defend their point of view and have good reasons for doing so, unlike many people I know from RL. For me to think someone's "really smart" then they need to do something to really make me think, like understanding 2nd year thermodynamics, or how the way people say things shows what they really think. Not Nobel prize winning stuff, just things that roughly 99% of the population could only understand with a lot of study (I consider myself nowhere near that intelligent).

And as for MENSA, if I'm a genius then there must be some sort of problem with IQ tests in general. All it proves is that I'm good at IQ tests

Actually, compared to most forums I visit, and the actual world population, CFC is pretty smart...

...now, could it use a little help in the maturity department, yeah, but then again...it's still ahead of the curve on that one compared to the regular world as well.

I voted above average. Most of the posters on this board, especially in the OT part of it, are fairly intelligent. Even the guys I don't agree with, like Perfection, aren't stupid, just wrong. Of course there's the occasional troll who is an idiot, but in general the people here are fairly smart, with fair typing skills and grammar. (Perhaps too good, I find myself sometimes playing the grammar nazi on other forums, because I've been spoiled by CFC and a few other select forums) Perhaps Civ just naturally attracts those with a healthy intellect.

Above average, and that's in all kinds of intelligence. I bet a lot of people here wouldn't do wonderfully well (likely myself included) on an IQ test, but that's just because they have different kinds of knowledge.
