Whats the next step to getting a girlfriend after you have thier number?

Xanik - the trick is to become so awesome that they come to you. Worked for me every time, and it cuts down the angst. (after learning that I knew nothing about pursuing women, I stopped trying )

It doesnt do any harm giving out my address does it?

It's generally inadvisable on the web (and incidentally your address is still visible in one of Eran of Arcadia's posts).

First dates = Go see a live band play, do one of those sticky indie rock bands, you don't have to dance, and everyone their is just as awkward as you. Also, if you get into a fight, yr bound to win! Impresses! Kiss whenever yr both looking at each other and not talking. Awkard silences are most often easily cured by lip touching.

step One: dont hang out on internet forums.

That's such a given that it should be posted on a sticky alone so that no one ever has to make that point again.:)

@Xanik: Theres a good reason people are anonymous and it's because if they know what city you live in and what your name is they can find your address, I have had people threaten to come to my house and gun me down, not in forums where there are rules but in game lobbies, and simply because I got very angry about a particular guys method of playing, it wasn't the guy in question it was someone else who stepped amongst the idiots who were arguing i.e. me and the others and got caught in the crossfire. Really never a good idea. Don't even PM someone your address unless you know and trust them implicitly.

Of course some couples "decide" on "being a couple" before that, but I prefer for things to naturally progress towards the inevitable

My community college is in arlington!!

I go to NOVA. NOrthern VirginiA Community College (Bad choice of letters for acronym. )

But its also called NVCC.
Woah....I was just looking into going there earlier today! Small world man! So, how is NOVA? I've heard it's a pretty good school. Do you know how their chemistry, history and philosophy departments are? (I might be taking a chemistry class there because I have to, history and philosophy are things I'm more interested in to study regularly and get degree's in)

NVCC is right close to where I live. Within walking distance, I think. I live in the little southern bit of Arlington that juts below I-395 (I think). My grocery store, just up the street, is in Alexandria.

I just realised what 742 Evergreen Terrace Springfield was as an address!

Speaking of which, my girl (notice the space) friends used to give out fake numbers when approached at the bar

nevermind this post

Wouldn't it be a coincidence if Xanik's last name was Simpson as well?

Its a pretty good school. The teachers are real good and the campus im at has a lot of majors to choose from.

Im sure they have what your looking for.

And if you come to this school, be sure you have somewhere to stay. Its a community college and doesnt have dorms. People commute to the school.

Cool. I've heard that it's a pretty good school, but it's always nice to hear from someone who has actual experience.

Yeah, I know. I'm not actually heading off to college just yet; I'll probably get some of the basic classes done first before going to a four-year college somewhere. But yeah, it's within driving distance, I recently moved to Stafford, VA. If you don't know where that is, it's a about 10 or so miles north of Fredericksburg.

I dont know why most of those were B's and none A's.

And for a "COMMUNITY" college it has plenty of extracurricular and social activities. So i dont agree with the F and D there.

If there comparing it to a university when they give that grade then its pretty unfair and not a very good review.

And not to mention the arlington campus is very multicultural. Theres plenty of people from nearly every ethnicity here and also in the whole washington DC metropolitan area. It is definitly not the stereotypical black population everybody attributes to DC.

And the surrounding city should be an A definitly not a B.

This area around Washington DC has anything you need. Its one of the fastest growing and largest suburban areas in the whole United States. And very very multicultural also. So i dont know why they gave surrounding city a B.

Fairfax County alone has well over 1 million people and its all suburbs (And about the size of a regular urban city also).

Sorry to go OT... but you might want Eran to remove your address from the quote as well.
