When did feminism go completely crazy?

Stop posting that crap Commy.

Just say it already, anyone and everyone which doesn't identify as "feminist" is already an MRA by default.

Nope! Maybe in your mind they are, but not to me. :)

I'd say feminism went crazy when they started thinking things like "manspreading" were serious issues affecting women. Warning: the following video contains NSFW language.

Let me get this straight: the woman objects to men spreading their legs in public, and the man objects to the woman objecting to men spreading their legs in public.

How is this a good way for me to spend my time?

Good to know all of the serious work done by feminists and the gains they've made are now suddenly null and void thanks to this!

That's how it works, right?

If men are being shamed for spreading their legs for a change, that shows we're living in new times.

Indeed. Instead of arguing, you could make the woman spread her legs without her complaining!

No it doesn't nullify all the serious work and gains of past feminists, it shows the movement (at least in the US) has run out of serious issues to protest and is desperately grasping at straws to stay somehow relevant.

Same can said about the guy that made the video.

Oh, you must mean serious issues like the underrepresentation of women in Congress, the Senate, and boardroom?

So rape isn't a serious issue, nor the appalling level of convictions and reports of rape? Domestic violence isn't a serious issue? Lack of equal pay isn't a serious issue? Bodily autonomy isn't a serious issue? Negative social views on females isn't a serious issue? Lack of adequate representation of females in politics, etc isn't a serious issue?

I'm sure all of those have been dealt with, we have true equality for females bro

Hint: These are all issues that feminism seeks to deal with, in and outside of the US.

How so? It seems like he is just making a counter-argument to those who seem to think "manspreading" is somehow a serious example of misogyny.

I really don't understand why he thought it worthwhile to make that counter-argument. Was he, like, at a total loss what else to do that day?

You're right and you don't see me speaking out against the feminists who are fighting those issues do you? No, I speak out against the extremists in the movement that seem to think issues like "manspreading" warrant just as much attention as rape, domestic violence, underrepresentation, slut shaming, etc.

It seems more likely that he is just looking for an excuse to go searching for a bunch of spread legs to put in his video.

I wouldn't see anything wrong if only he was a bit honest. But uh huh, we have to be nice to women. That's just plain unfortunate.

That should be in the tales of the weird thread. Any man afraid to take up space & be comfortable in seating to meet the fashion of the day is unlikely to reproduce anyway so this type of thing will just make "the problem" worse.

If I want to spread my legs it ain't, to quote salt n pepa, none of yo business.
