After the recent poll on which was the best US state I thought that this had completely no revelant to me so I created a poll that did. Obviously I cannot fit every European country on this poll but that doesn't mean that you should be not be upset by the absent of your country. As it is written from the prospect of an Englishman (for the purpose of the poll I will have U.K.) your country may have been ignored as it doesn't appear much in the English media. However I have tried to counter this by getting out a map of Europe and selecting the biggest countries. It should also be noted that I may select a country because its cool-sounding name such as Liechtenstein. On the whole I think that this poll will cover most Europeans (or at least most Europeans who happen to visit this site and this thread). As normal there will be the mandatory other field which I hope people will try and avoid as it tells me, and more importantly the people spying on this site, nothing of value.

I have been to Finland, Germany, Holland, the U.K and Spain.
Finland is a fine country, but you just can't understand what people say. Germany was too hectic, and there was yuppies everywhere. Holland was full of gay people staring at you.
Spain was just too damn hot!
But i loved London. So i would have to say the U.K too.

Yes, I noticed that:D

Ive been to Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, UK, Ireland and Greece...

I have to say that my favourite of these are Denmark... Its hard to explain, but i felt like i was finally coming home when i stepped of the boat there for the first time. Now i go there at least once a year! (its a long way, since i live above the arctic circle)

I would say the czech republic. More specifically Prague, because I haven't seen any other city there. But Prague is just too beautiful ...

Given that I can't vote for my own country, I would have to say spain because it is so laid back, hot and the food is great.

"Holland was full of gay people staring at you."
Maybe that had something to do with the dead animal on your head :p

One has been to England, Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, Germany and France, and liked Sweden best out of that lot, only just over Irealnd by a bee's diaphragm.

I have been to Holland, belgium, germany, france, luxembourg, Liechtenstein, switserland, austria, Italy, czech Republic, Slovenia, Kroatia, turky (european part): I say I like France a lot because of the friendly women, at least not in Paris.
Further more belgium is cool and czech republic is great especially Prague. It is like walking in euro disney but it is real:crazyeyes. Prague is definitly the best place :goodjob:

belgium is cool

I am sorry but there is nothing about, or ever will be, anything remotely to do with Belgium that can be refered to in any way as "cool". As a side note, Euro disney sucks, it doesn't compare to Alton Towers as a theme park. Also there was this park near Paris that I stumbled upon (well actually I was lost but thats another story) which was sometthing to do with Asterix and Obliex which was excellent. The best european country has to be Ireland (apart from my homeland that is) as it has wonderful scenery, a great accent, lots and lots of alcohol and is very friendly.

I've been to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein.

Gotta give it up for Germany and the beer. But you also have to keep in mind that The Guiness is made in Ireland. Coupled with Bass in England, and the British Isles are next on my list.

Yeah, I like beer, what's it to ya?

What does American beer and Sex in a Canoe have in common?

They are both F**king close to water!

Mr Pres asked that this be closed so he could post one with a poll, so....

PaleHorse76 = Damn! Beat me to it AoA! :)
