I've actually always been a fan of radio, newswise. I consume vast quantities of all media, though. I've also been interviewed on numerous occasions for each of the media listed above, live as well as taped where applicable. And from that experience I have to say radio has a certain valuable directness. It is what it is. A statement is a statement. The headline IS the story, and when depth is provided - e.g. smart talk radio - its much greater depth than the other media generally offer.

I, too, like the radio, as it provides a much better chance of intelligent discussion that the vast majority of television, and it is cheaper and more accessible than the Internet.
Newspapers and the print media also can be good, but they can lack the immediacy of radio, which can include live, late-breaking news.

That's a very good news site... They take what the Palestinians say as facts yet they don't even mention the suicide bombings...
For immediate news, radio, and maybe TV. For in-depth coverage, newspapers and internet.
But the internet probably requires the most use of discriminatory reading. Just because something is on the net, that doesn't make it correct. I am reminded of an old Garfield cartoon: "If you see it on TV, it must be true." Everyone laughs at that, because it is so obviously false. Yet many people faile to engage the 'critical' circuits in the brain, and believe whatever they see on the net. It is mind-boggling!

Uhm... no all of the above option? Anyone one of those is very limited.
I actually have no TV, and have recieved all my news for a long time from papers, radio, and the internet.
I spent a week at home with TV; its a very different medium, not because of the message but simply because of the images. I think because of that it is the most powerful medium (even though streaming live internet stories comes close).
