While We Wait: Boredom Strikes Back

Oh, trust me; I have no problems with any kind of form at all. My only problem comes from the whole 'gay' vs. 'straight' thing, especially when applied to a dumb chat. I mean, do we have any 12 year olds left? I thought we lost Charles-Li, and even he was a bit smarter than those dumb lines. If you have a problem with that; your problem, not mine :p.

OH IT'S STRAIGHT. WHEREVER I AM... IS STRAIGHT. I LOVE WOMEN. DON'T QUESTION IT. Except lightfang. I love that man more than I love myself. He is my sovereign. But anyway, #nes is totally straight.

Wow. I usually shoot for completely incoherent. *sigh* Must be losing my touch.

As requested EQ, post deleted.

#nes has an air of tolerance and good natured fun. You should all join in excitment. It will be a blast!

We also have drugs.

For all those newer players interested in coming on to #nes, follow these simple steps.

1. Go to www.mibbit.com/chat
2. At the top, click the server button, and type in the server address: razorvine.selfip.net
3. Type in the nickname that you want, and in the channel section, type #nes

And you're in! If you become a regular chatter, you can download a client that logs you in automatically, but that's only for super-cool people.

Word, dog. It is relevant to everyone's interests because they get to interact with the charming people of the NES forums and Kentharu. :D

Was thinking about joining that nes channel but yeah dont see why I should??? I mean MSN, AIM and the forums should be enough for me! :P

IRC is a universal platform that both AIM and MSN users can get on, and it doesn't require registration and so forth.

One could see AIM and MSN as bilateral talks, and IRC (#nes chat) is unilateral talks similar to the UN. The major difference is trash like Luckymoose is there :p

It just offers a broader opportunity to discuss NESing and so forth.

Excuse me but I do believe we have a good time discussing educational topics.

#nes is an excellent place to discuss topics of interest to NESers in a setting conducive to public discussion.

Some of humanity's best ideas have come out of IRC. Did you know that the lightbulb was actually invented after an IRC conversation between Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla?

Anyhow, applying this methodology to #nes, we can only imagine what bright new ideas our channel will bring to the forum in the future.

That's practically not true. I get a lot of NESing business taken care of in that medium.

In other news...
