Really, how long will the two of you keep each other's regalia, it's starting to be a bit annoying. Don't blame me if one of your story bonuses accidentaly end up with the Emergents, or the other way around.

It's curious, really. You should see how people moaned after I passed the week mark on stNNES III. They usually declared it dead after three weeks.
Well, I guess the difference is that I gave proper advance notice.

True, but even my worst update droughts were for legitimate reasons (though I doubt any of my players cared at the time
).
The overcomplication of modern NESes, or the fact that I spent a few months preparing for a nationwide athletic event?
Though this latest delay is inexcusable, it was my bad work ethic last weekend that prevented the update's completion.

I wasn't referring to you, Iggy. In any case, I try to never complain about update times, because I understand the difficulty of updating; the closest I get to complaining is asking if the NES is honestly still alive.

That NES of yours Abaddon is just that, a NES. NESes belong here in the NES forum. If they start migrating elsewhere it will be the death of this forum and community. And, in any case, it is against CFC rules to have a thread belonging in one forum placed in another forum.

So why have a NES-forum under CIV3, then? Instead of somewhere else where it might fit better?
But anyway, if I`m "hijacked" into this forum, that`s fine by me, but I think the NES forum is placed really awkward, and perhaps the MODs ought to look into the placement of the NES-forum first?

You only have yourself to blame though, you came across very hostile at the thought of him (well new people) starting a nes.
Its a good thing if new people start their own nes, more chance of something unique.

I would agree with this statement.
NESes that start here are also very successful. Additionally, the rules are the rules, and on CFC all threads belong in their designated forums.
This has been discussed G-d knows how many times. As always, I am for a move to the Colliseum. But that will never happen, as some people in this community simply refuse change.
EDIT: Wow, freaky coincidence.
I actually encouraged him to start a NES as he said he would wait to get another month or two of experience first. When people come here out of nowhere and the first thing they do is try and start a NES before even playing one, that is a problem. If people get even a couple months of experience first, then G-d bless.

I have joined Abaddons NES in the forum games, and that was my first post in this forum. Didn`t even know it existed, but I have now found it, thanks to the above-mentioned NES. And I still think Israelites argument is strange, since he states that a thread should not be allowed in another fora than the fora designated to it, because I think the forum that is supposedly designated is not in the place it should be. Why civ3? Is CIV3 somehow uniquely designated to NES? Are every NES ultimately set for a CIV3 thread? So that people that played CIV1, 2 and then skipped 3 because of a bad sequel and re-joined for 4 are excluded?
