That still made me sad. Not as sad as coming even with Silver, but still sad.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I asked (two to three days after I got on track) for those who didn't receive a pm to alert me. By the time I realized I missed people (I belive Panda got left out, among some of the newer people), it was way too late for me to send out pms. So go whine somehwere else p).

This year I haven't done enough - I think that the only NES I was really in in 2007 was AFSNES. Don't be ashamed.

Depending on the category, the toal rotated from 25-5. In general, expect for a few categories, there were no clear winners and the votes were widely cast. The best warmoger, through, if you exclude me would only have four nominees, and there were only around 9 votes. You only received one, so it wasn't that much.

I think the designation is kind of silly. The difference between old players and new ones is nonexistent or trivial.

I think the criteria for best new player was that they had to start NES in 2007 and be really good at it. Old players can be good from repeated experience while this award shows potential.

I had plenty of time to complain. I deliberately didn't ask for a ballot because, as I said, I had nothing to add, and also to see if you'd notice that you missed several "important" people without having to have it pointed out to you. I'm bringing it up only to demonstrate your procedure is terrible. Nobody should have had to have asked.
