While We Wait: Part 3

ah... are they abandoned or still up and running, but delayed? i quite enjoyed the GameNES in particular.

Hopefully that will be delayed. If possible, I will post my full game info, after some sweet precious time over Thanksgiving vacation. ;)

I'm thinking of new NES concepts which would probably suck badly if I brought them into fruitation/modded them, but would be a memorable experience in your hands.

Zombie NES (In the scale of World War Z)

Something more in-depth, yet still pretty simple in the form of www.peacemakergame.com

Working not as a huge company, but as one single store

A Penguin/Polar Bear war NES (Yeah right :p)

Global Warming on Earth

Something based on World in Conflict :mischief:

A court-based game, like Phoenix Wright, but would be a forum game, rather than an NES, which is more uberly powerful.

BTW, uber is German, but what does it mean in German?

It is my impression, though I will freely admit it could be a wrong one, that fixed funding for a specific goal did not occur until the modern era.

Before that, it is my impression, though again, I could be wrong, that "scientists" (and I use the term loosely), need 1) some minimum standard of education, 2) leisure time, 3) a patron so that their ideas spread.

I would be interested to see if a storyNES could come out of some NES based a little into the future when an allien invasion begins.

Something around Universe at War...

Yeah one that lives and has good rules and storyness... and freedom of races :)

This would be interesting. Everyone is signed up as a lawyer etc. We then argue cases. Those whose reps go up get appointed to courts. Precedents are set; our foundation is Western law.

For the good story writers, they can create a scenario; then, the lawyers would use the evidence to argue a case. AIM chatroom for cross-examination.

Gah. Expecting NESers to be creative is... silly, at best.

I meant more a Freelancer type NES.

I do love that game. You could run one of the companies, governments, pirates, etc.... and of course, no aliens, which helps. I always thought that in a sci fi NES the mod should not allow aliens except without careful planning so they were exceptionally different from humans -- actually alien.

Right, to sleep. Sorry for inflicting on you all.

Has anyone ever made a NES based of the Three Kingdoms period of China?
