While We Wait: Part 5

It's a good thing we don't have a national health service. We don't have to wait in line, and there's no rationing. Sure, it costs more, but it's the best health care in the world. Hence, so many people from every corner of the earth come to America to be treated.

Hah Croatia...we saved your woman's leg for 5000$.

Sure, it costs more, but it's the best health care in the world.

Really?

Below Costa Rica...and Morroco,....and Colombia....yeh totally the best dude.

It's a good thing we don't have a national health service. We don't have to wait a few weeks for the preventative care that most americans never get and still get emergency treatment promptly, and there's lots of hoarding. Sure, it costs at least twice as much and growing rapidly, but it's the best health care in the world. Hence, so many people from every corner of the earth come to America to be treated for very specialised operations that are due to Americas excellent research hospitals rather than due to the 'efficencies' of a privatised.

Just doing some light correction there.

@Silver, without knowing what criteria they used that's not a great list. The US may have the best care in its top hospitals without have a good service.

That source you provided was horrible, Symphony.

If you even browse that photius.com at all, you can tell it's a left wing propaganda machine. That being said, the "best" health care system in the world is oppinionative. Not factual. Who but you can say what health care system you would prefer?

Isn't this a bit like using nuclear weapons against Talibans, though? At least in this particular case?
I agree with Tarkin that sometimes a use of overwhelming force serves as a good example and saves one effort in the long run.

I mean, it's not as though anyone is actually going to agree with Luckymoose
Eternal vigilance.

That source you provided was horrible, Symphony.
Try and be specific please. I haven't said anything for a page now.

(The next president of the United states SHOULD be a sponsor of terrorism!?)

http://onthefencefilms.com/video/twowomen.html (You want universal health care, mandate it at the local or state level, not at the national level. You as a citizen of your state have alot more control over your own health care system, this way. I don't want someone in california ruining Missouri's health care system)

(Look at this before blaming bush or McLame about Fannie and Freddie)

In regards to your last post, disenfranchised, in my oppinion our system is the best in the world.

Oh my god please stop bringing up William Ayers, you just make yourself look enormously ignorant. If there was something there, McCain would have hammered Obama with it. He hasn't. Clinton would have hammered Obama with it. She didn't. You think they just let a terrorist sympathizer into the United States Senate with no questions asked, eh? There is nothing there.

You know where Obama and Ayers met? On the Chicago-Annenberg Project. Sponsored by the Annenberg Foundation. Annenberg. As in Leonore Annenberg, wife of Walter Annenberg--heir to the foundation and John McCain's second highest former-Ambassador campaign contributor. Does John McCain support terrorists by taking funding from a woman who let one on a committee of her foundation? No? Then stop talking about William Ayers already, Sean Hannity--there is no connection. You just look like a parrot spouting off McCain's talking points without ever actually bothering to stop and think.

This whole Ayers story is overplayed and stupid and betrays a stunning willingness to just believe whatever one hears. Why don't you go look up some of McCain's uncouth chance encounters he'd rather forget? There's quite a number more than just Charles Keating. Oh right, because you appear to just repeat back whatever's shoved in your face often enough rather than think and research for yourself.

What? Did you do that one on purpose?

The Obama's Kids thing is just creepy and unnecessary. If anyone thinks they should be supporting someone they will never be able to vote for, and singing praise to his name, you need to reevaluate the situation.

It was a fraternity organized by one of the teachers. The teacher was suspended.

So, Luckymoose, the media hates McCain so much that even when presented with a juicy story that would gain them immense prestige (ie: that Obama is a Secret Muslim Sleeper Agent) they just pass it up? Really now. That's news to me.

You see, John McCain keeps bringing up Ayers and, aside from the people who think it's kosher to shout things like "Terrorist!" or "Treason!", nobody takes him seriously. Did you ever wonder why that is?

Because he's fearmongering and using a story that was already disproved to try and slander his opponent maybe? See, when your attack doesn't connect? That's not hammering. It's whiffing. It's failing to connect. In this case, it's failing precisely because anyone who has actually done more than listened to McCain knows it's not true. Guess what group that lands people in who continue to repeat it and believe there might be some validity in it? That's right, the Kool-Aid queue!

Who's the bigger fear mongerer? He who says the world's going to end unless Obama's elected? Or he who points out a connection between Obama and terrorists?
