While We Wait: Part 5

Run while you can. I'm coming for you.

"Diversify yo bonds!"

"Liberate me ex High School."

Oh I had a good one....intro from my yearbook message:

“It is not sufficient that I succeed - all others must fail.”-Genghis Khan

I find this quotes very meaningful to my IB career as it reflects the philosophy of the IB.

I’ve been n this school for 4 years. Ever since 9th grade…yeh. It’s been a long time. Some times have been good and fun others have been long and excruciating.

'Aha! I am jury shark.'

Firstly I would like to thank myself. silver 2039 (a.k.a Juan Carlos, Michelle,) man, thanks for your immense knowledge and wisdom, your incredible skills in many fields and such. You are a hardworking and determined person to have suffered through IB and 4 years in CIS. I hope you achieve to position of power and glory that you so richly deserve. Also I wish you luck with your marriage/divorce or whatever, and hope your three children Susie, Dave and Suresh are fairing well.

I have another 5 pages where I insult everyone in the graduating class. I can post the whole thing if you like. Yes I was high when I wrote it. Yes the whole thing was actually printed in the yearbook. They clearly didn't vet it properly.

Thats nothing compared to the rest of it. Its a good thing I wrote it and the end of the year when nothing could happen to me.

It would be a nice read; unfortunately, my quote cannot go over 40 word, so I can't be as wordy with mine.

Leave it blank. Alternately, give the decimal number for a book in the local library that you then go and mis-shelve. Pirate directions to buried treasure are also acceptable.

Although I am fond of these Thomas Jefferson gems: "Without lies, even the most basic conversation would be completely out of my reach."
and,
"Daring is the extra scotch before racing an alligator."

Or, finally, a stern admonishment to your fellow rakes and wastrels would be the most selfless path:
"God metes out justice even to the curious."
(Judges 8:30)

Really, just leave it blank.

As I recall, I used a Jack Sparrow quote about dishonesty that I memorized, like the rest of those three movies.

EDIT: I know these are four days old, but something about the Red Alert 3 trailer with Hell March 3 on it reminded me of NES2 VI...Symphony, are these soldiers familiar-looking? :p

I don't believe we even have yearbooks in these here parts. Or at least I don't remember it.

An open letter to all those in the northern hemisphere.

Yes, your time with the sunshine is over! Summer is coming to us in the southern lattitudes of the world. Oh the joys of living in a sub-tropical climate in the southern hempishere.... where it never snows, it rains hard very occasionally and my biggest concern is that the air conditioner might crap out.

Of course if that happens I could always go to the beach for a swim and just enjoy the bright sun in tempratures reaching 30 degrees celcius, or maybe just a tad over it.

Of course I will be thinking about all of you snowbound during the winter months in the north. Me, I am just glad that I can leave the snow where it belongs, on vacation!

(This is just my 2 cents to the whole winter/snow thing that started a few days ago)

Summer what is summer?! It's about to start raining for at least 3 months here :(

Damm you tropics!

Brisbane has the best weather in Australia out of the major cities too haha.

Summary of tropical seasons:
  • Rainy season: Light to very heavy rains every other day. Other days are moist and cloudy.
  • Summer: Moderate to very heavy rains every other week. Other days are hot.

Nope, Brisbane gets cold :p

10 degrees is just not cricket!

Yeah like the coldest it gets here in winter is like 3-4 degrees.... It once got to 0.1 degree and snowed.... like 40 years ago or something tho...

It rarely also heads above the mid-30s in summer, although I have known one or two days at about 42.... which is hot, bout the same as Californian hot.

The beauties of a SUB-tropical climate, not the tropical climate the the NT finds itself in.

Oh and Masada, to some of these people the mercury doesnt even head above 10 degrees for months at a time, funny as hey, when Darwin is 30 degrees all year round just about.

More than slightly funny, I’ve lived in colder climes, but many people up here have no idea what Winter really is (aside from "it get's colder!"), similarly many people elsewhere have no idea what 9 months of sunshine, and 3 months of near constant rain can do to people :p

I've been to the really cold parts of our country where it still isn't cold enough for snow.

I'd absolutely hate to be without insulation in any winter anywhere.
