Taking in mind the lack of any historic entity relatable to the name 'Siberian Republic', the hellish nature of the highlighted regions, the settlement and exploitation patterns circa OTL 1850s, and the traditional use of plain white in NESing to indicate unorganised, unsettled or anarchic space...what do you, sp1023, think is the liklihood of those regions being a 'Siberian Republic'?

I didn't. I thought it was uninhabited or something. I want to lead a polar bear uprising.

@Israelite: if four additional states makes you giddy, I dread to think what happened when you looked at EQs Brave New World!

...so guys, what am I meant to do again? Rub his nose it and tell him he's a bad puppy? Is that it?

I want to talk about OOC wars where two similar NESers battled it out just to see who's better. Some have a little IC basis but I want a simple history of a few famous OOC wars.

Me and SP just got started on another one. The last one burned the NES. >.<

Any anyone remembers?

Which NES is this?

I want to play against you, not work together. Lets see which is better 13 year old coherency or 13 or 12 year old experience. Find out, in the next Episode of, SINES V

WHAT? Are you advertizing? I admire you for setting up 'Real' Neses with a neat Meta-Story updates; but really, how do I have more experience?

You joined in July, I joined in December. And I wasn't here this last summer.

EDIT: How old are you anyways, Charles?

Just 12 for less than half a year. You are more mature than me. Well, I can remember my old garbbed muck I call stories and tiny orders I felt proud of... yuck, that was my NESing Newbhood. Now I am trying to find a Name for myself, using new tactics, reading strategy ect. You succeded I supose, better than me.

Once again, We shall see, in the next Episode of SINES V!

Wanted to comment on audio and video content for NESing. I do believe that it is possible in the future for more development of those fields, and Arian's contributions to A Brave New World are good examples of that. Another good example would be the start of contributions we've had for Times of Heroes, using Spore art. I think, that as we get newer video games which better suit NESing, or as current video games become easier to modify, we may be seeing NESes which can be based off the said games using its engine.

I have actually considered that myself at some point, using record and the civ3/4 engines to add feeling and color to an NES. Problem of course is the time consumption and the difficulty to modify.

What sort of contributions would those be? Audio, video, or both? (I do plan to eventually read A Brave New World, which I am kicking myself for missing, but can't take the time to read such a massive thread at the moment).

I also agree on Heroes. For some reason the added free reign of creating races as well as nations seems to be freeing people up, I know it is for me. I have a very strong feeling that that NES is going to be a more succesful "Return to Our Roots" (in terms of story rather than game focus) than RTOR's generally are.

Comment on Justo's stuff: sounds a lot like Victoria. :p

Arian did some videos turn by turn showing the course of the world in a Brave New World. They were rather neat.

As for Heroes, yes, i hope that the stories retain center stage, that's a secondary reason for why i designed it like i did.
