Update 1: Ptolemy invades Syria! The rather competent Seleucos defended quite nicely, but since he isn't a player he gets a random NPC disadvantage! (Ptolemy -1 army), Seleucus (-2 armies, -1 income) Everyone else sits around idly, except Antigonus, who invades Antipater (who cares as of yet)
Update 2: Ptolemy continues his advance into Syria! It is straining his logistics. Seleucus uses his archers and skirmishers to guerrilla his way out, but his NPC-ness will cost him! (Ptolemy -2 armies, Seleucus -1 army) Antigonus is continuing HIS campaign. (yeah) Ptolemy builds the strongest navy as of yet! (Naval advantage)
Update 3: Seleucus is dealing with Antigonus! Antigonus, a mod-faved NPC, invades the Levant! The invasion of Syria is delayed because of this! The superior navy eases things up for Ptolemy, but a two-sided wat is bad! (Egypt -5 armies -1 EC, Antigonus -4 armies, Seleucus -4 armies)
Update 4: Egypt fights a defensive war, regroups! (+1 eco) Egypt fights the combined forces of Antigonus and Seleucus! It is hard! He might need help, but the vast coffers of Egypt are still good! (-4 armies Egypt, -3 armies antingonus, -3 armies Seleucus). Sparta tries to build its economy, but Roman businessmen are crushing her! (no effect)
Update 5: SPOTLIGHT! Sparta attacks Roman businessmen! Rome sends a Proconsul Asininus Gaius Maximus to attack Sparta! Hasn't arrived yet. (no effect, +1 eco). Egypt is holding, but poorly! It has lost Sinai. (-4 armies Egypt -1 eco, -4 Armies Antigonus, -2 armies Seleucus +1 eco).
Update 6: Rome attacks Sparta, Sparta holds! It was tough, but Sparta pulled off a victory! A Pyrrhic victory! (-3 army Sparta) Asininus Gaius Maximus reports his failure and is forced to commit suicide, the Senate squabbles over whether to send another Proconsul to do AGM's job. Ptolemy counter-attacks after peace overtures! Antigonus says he's getting tired of having to attack for Seleucus, says "Just give me Alexandria and this will be all over." The fighting is rough, very rough! Egypt is losing, and its troops are exhausted. (-6 army Egypt, -5 army antigonus, -2 army seleucus)
Update 7: Sparta celebrates! (+happiness and nervous feeling) Seleucus betrays Antigonus in the battlefield, and Antigonus is slain! Antipater strikes again! The thing is a right mess, it is! Bribes are being handed out! Betrayers abound! Piracy, state-supported and otherwise! (-1 army Ptolemy, -1 army Seleucus, -4 Army Antigonus, -1 eco Antigonus, -1 Army Antipater). Rome has decided to send another Proconsul, with an even bigger army! Athenians betray infos to the Romans. (hmmm, bad things for Sparta)
Update 8: Sparta joins in the Europe-side anti-Antigonus ad hoc coalition, but its army is recalled to defend against the Roman army! The Romans decide to be conservative! Seleucus also uses his navy to attack Sparta, which totally helped the Romans! (-2 armies Sparta, Roman army is at 4) The war against Antigonos intensifies and he loses much of his gains in all directions! (-6 armies Antigonus, -2 armies Antipater, -3 armies +1 eco Seleucus, -3 armies Ptolemy).
Update 9: Ptolemy decides to hold back on his mad aggression, giving the fellahin and machimoi the cue to revolt; it was crushed promptly! (temporary -1 eco, -2 army Egypt) Selecus invades Demetrius full strength; though terrain and superior numbers held back the Syro-Persian-Greek tide, lack of organization doomed Demetrius! Antipater attacks Antigonus! (-3 army Seleucus, -1 army Antipater, -5 army Demetrius, -1 eco Demetrius). Sparta tries to attack Demetrius, but the Romans kept its armies home (-2 armies Sparta, Roman army sieging at 3)
Update 10: The Roman Proconsul takes Sparta, mostly because Sparta insisted to attack Demetrias! Antipater also used the Roman attack to take over Spartan gains in Eastern Europe! (-1 eco -3 armies Sparta, +1 eco Antipater) Demetrius agrees to be a vassal of Seleucus! (-1 eco Demetrius, +1 eco Seleucus). Antipater wants to consolidate his gains in Europe, and now asks Seleucus for his blessings. Ptolemy invades Greece, finds himself conquering random unaligned polises (might be enough for another eco at some point, -1 army). LUCKYMOOSE you don't have your 2 extra eco yet, so only 2 eco was spent on armies. Seleucus liberates Athens, is proclaimed a god! (-1 eco Sparta, -2 armies Sparta); SPARTA [CREZTH] IS DEAD.
Update 11: Demetrius is ordered to invade India! He leaves a regent to command... whatever his domain is called! His troops die of disease and elephants, but holds on to bits of India for Seleucus! (-1 army Seleucus, -2 Army Demeetrius). Ptolemy invades Seleucus full-force, the backstabbing arse; the fortifications were good, but it won't be long before they're overwhelemed! (-3 armies Seleucus, -4 armies Ptolemy, -2N both). Antipater consolidates, contemplates helping one side. (+1 eco) Rome is amused by fighting.
Update 12: Naval raids against Alexandria fill the Seleucus coffers, but sinks Seleucid ships! (-3N Seleucus, -1N Ptolemy) Seleucus grinds down the Ptolemaic army in Palestine, but the Ptolemaic army was too big! Antipater attacks Ptolemy over the seas! Ptolemy looks to find himself double-attacked again, but his armies are large! (-6 army -3N Ptolemy, -4 army -2N Antipater, -4 army -1N Seleucid).
Update 13: Ptolemy decides to just stay put, defending his conquered lands! His northern holdings are taken by the combined forces of Seleucus and his Demetrius-Regency buddies. Palestine is overrun by Seleucus and Antipater's forces! Fighting intensifies in the Gaza Strip as Palestinian forces attack and fortifications are raised and razed! (-1 army Epirus, -5 armies -2N Ptolemy, -4 armies -1N Seleucus, -3 Armies -1N Antipater; -1 eco Egypt and Seleucus) Antipater faces an Epirote invasion in the homeland, while he's out fighting! (-1 eco for him, Epirus -3 army, Antipater -4 armies) Carthage attacks Egyptian islands! The Carthaginian Senate purposefully sent someone incompetent! (-3 armies -2N Carthage, -1 Army -1N Ptolemy)
Update 14: Antipater returns home to fight the Epirote invasion, but his piddly army was slightly smaller than the Epirotes' and his Western front is shrinking! An attempted ambush and cut-off by Egyptians and Epirotes was foiled by Antipater's navy, but barely! (-3 army Epirus, -4 army -2N Antipater, -2 Army -1N Ptolemy) Bribes! A few nasty Seleucid soldiers were bribed into joining the Ptolemies, but they were killed anyway so nobody's worrying about them anymore! Also, a well-coordinated attack on Sinai threatens Egypt proper! (-1 eco -6 army, -1N Egypt, -3 army Seleucus, -4 army -2N Carthage, -2 army Demetrius)
