lord_joakim, I do indeed remember you. I, of course, remember Dark from many NESes - as pesky Africans, the Kingdom of Wessex, even that time he played wood elves for Swiss' short-lived magic the gathering NES (which, I might add, I rather enjoyed, especially Strategos' Lux civ, and even alex's chinese high elves). I have a good memory and we're just joking around.

All of which I haven't played in, which was why I imagined I could've been squeezed out of your brains. But I'm not. I'm honored.

Also, Thlayli, you should study.

I think this may be somewhat relevant as it involves two NESers doing NESerly things. Justo and I have started a game of Victoria Revolutions as France and Russia respectively. Here be some of the recaps of our first few years. We decided I must be Tsar of all Slavs first and foremost so that whole ordeal went down smoothly. Then Justo started buying colonies around the globe. Including California.

I was just wondering how historical NESes would react to historical orders, but then I realized I don’t know what a “historical order” would look like!

HISTORICAL ORDERS

The Challenge: Produce historical sets of orders for various countries at any given period of time.
The Purpose: Ultimately? Better NESing and NESes, of course!

The spending and basic economic system will be in the ubiquitous integral eco-points system; the amount of EP you get for a country you will decide, but rationalize; the costs of what are usually set-costs, you will also decide (so you’ll be making a barebones economic system, or borrow one from existing NESes).

If anyone is interested, just shoot and maybe we’ll make a thread for it where we can discuss things and stuff. I myself and utterly incompetent at NESing so I can’t make any.

Coolness I was in a few online games of Eu2 back in the day. Never got very far though. How are your relations with Austria and Prussia? If I was them I'd be thinking about re-adjusting that balance of power in the balkans

Tsar of all Slavs event gives me -200 with most of the powers in Europe. Prussia and Austria won't dare make a move as France is my ally. Justo and I can pwn anyone. Wait until we get our industry going strong that's when we plan to split Europe north/south along Berlin.
