Who are you/would you vote for and why?

I can see that Youtube fiasco as an weak attempt at curbing liberty, but really the guy making the video strikes me as a desperate opportunist. The whole situation was unfortunate, except for Youtube championing liberty (Google/Youtube +1 each). I wouldn't blame Obama for it, nor for the embassy fiasco. Both events are symptoms of the greater global environment which is partly resisting a common dialogue. It's one more casualty of the War on Terror, and the human condition in general. I'd say we're still cleaning up after the Cold War, really---something else we didn't really ask for.

This.

And it doesn't even mention religion - any religion.

Which two wars has Obama started that have ran up the credit card to the extent that the two Bush wars have?

He's still in Afghanistan, and stayed for a long time in Iraq. Not pulling out immediately means Obama shares in the responsibility.
HEIL OBAMA!

Stop fueling the conservative conspiracy, I don't want a Romney blowout;)

Pulling out immediately and plunging the countries in civil war?
If you break something, it's nice if you at least try to fix it too.

I'm sorry that our leaders have been playing world police since Korea, but its time for us to stop. Immediately. And never do it again.

That may hurt the rest of the world but we need to worry about ourselves right now, and stop sending our tax dollars overseas.

I'd prefer it if the U.S. would gradually leave countries they have military active in and not start any new 'projects', as that would have the same end result and would be better for those countries.
Don't forget the mutual neighbour of Afghanistan and Iraq, who'd probably be eager to let the other nations 'join' them if they completely collapse.

I'd accept that if our leaders would actually commit to it.

Since they never will, if I ever became President I would immediately pull everything from everywhere and actually work on balancing the domestic budget.

We need to learn NOT to be the world police, and it needs to start now.

Obama didn't just pull out too slowly though, he actually approved troop surges.

I do hand it to Obama, the democrats learned the lesson of committing ground troops. Bill Clinton learned with Somalia. It's a mistake always, and we should never commit ground troops ever again (except as official U.N. peacekeepers). This is why Libya turned out so well. Even if they turn into a terrorist country, at least our troops won't be in there getting attacked.

Wrong. Not as "UN Peacekeepers" either. If the rest of the world wants to blow each other up that's their own doggone business.

The only time I would ever support ground troops is

1. If another power attacks us, and even then, still probably not. I'd bomb the hell out of them in that case.

2. If we get another Hitler (Mainly because he wanted to conquer the world, or at least seriously large parts of it. His domestic policies, while horiffic, are not my reasons for saying WWII was justified.)

Somalia was started by Bush the Elder, so it was yet another situation of a Dem being stuck with a Republican blunder.
