Too many. But my favourite actress of all time is Vivien Leigh followed by Elizabeth Taylor. And then there are many that I like.

I don't have one big favourite actor but probably Marlon Brando. I also like Paul Newman.

As far as modern actors go, I like Natalie Portman, Edward Norton, Cate Blanchett, Kevin Spacey and some others.

But seriously I love too many movies and too many actors to just give a list.

I don't really have a favourite actress: I loved Jolie in Girl Interrupted, but not much else. I'm enjoying the action-hero schtick these days, and usually like the girls involved in those.

For me, it's mostly been the actress who plays characters I currently have the hots for. When Silence of the Lambs came out I really liked Jodie Foster, and I was dating a petite girl. When I broke up my last serious relationship after I found out my fiancee was a lying, self-serving whore I preferred Franka Potente who seemed to star in roles where she stuck by and supported her man.

TBH, actors/actresses do almost nothing for me. I'm most likely to consider a movie based on who directed it and to a lesser extent who wrote it or what the source material is.

That said, Scarlett Johannson is probably the most beautiful woman on earth, but she's a so-so actress.

There are a few actors/actresses who, if they're in the cast, I note that as "check" in the movie's favor. People like William H. Macy, Will Ferrell, Steve Carrell, Laura Linney, Johnny Depp, to name a few.

Actor: not sure. Sam Elliot is always fun. Eddie Murphy is a riot. John Glover plays a real evil dude. Tom Hanks has played everyone under the sun but you still see Tom Hanks under the character.
