Who's NESing in 2011: Post and be counted

Is anybody out there?

Pole is still missing a few known NESers.

Here, and I'm one of the newer faces (since the start of NukeNes9).

I'm here and have no plan of quitting NESing anytime soon.

I'm here. Don't see a number of people I know are still NESing.

I have returned from my retirement of many years.

I'm here, in an auxiliary capacity. I haven't been around long enough to see, but I think I would make a great cannon fodder nation.

:/ Doesn't look good does it folks...

Older threads have had more time for voters, and if they hit in times of temporary influxes you're going to get unstable results.

Good point. While the census threads are useful, they are hardly examples of scientific polling. Perhaps for next time you should split the poll into "in an NES at the moment" "still interested in NESing but not currently in one", "Active but taking a break", etc.

It might also be useful to ask for NESers to list which NESes they are currently participating in, in a response in thread.

While those points are true, these threads die pretty quickly.. I can't imagine the number of votes rises much once the thread drops off the first page.
That being said, in future I will make the poll only remain open for a limited time.

It seems you're right, as there has been three additional votes since I bumped this thread back to the front page yesterday. Hopefully it will stay on the front page for a while now so any stragglers (like me) can make themselves known.

Yeah but I wouldn't worry too much about the number because we can always bring in friends or hell do a nes lite in the Forum Games and try to lead people over here. I ended up coming here from a link in the FFH forum out of curiosity.
