No, because it appeals to the same nonsensical attitudes and insecurities as do woman's makeup and clothing social mores. Its pure opulence and decadence, the characteristic destroyers of civilizations.

Sure. So your problem isn't about Metrosexuality, it's about society's expectations of your looks, and makeup.

I agree with you, but I won't call it decadence. It's just makeup. It looks good.

Its decadent because it convinces people to focus on things they have no need to and which contribute in no way to our survival or to the advancement of society. It is in the same boat as conspicuous consumption; a useful distraction of consumerism and an advertiser's wet dream. It is the very manifestation of narcissism, the 20th and 21st century dandy.

Again, everything wrong with our society.

Lol there is no way you can spin it, metrosexuality sucks.
Imagine ow much money was spent on Taylor Lautners face? To keep it with the same consistency of plastic.
BUT STILL HE HAS SUCH AN UGLY FACE!

Jacob. As my avatar suggests, I like (were)wolves more then vampires.

Twilight and its characters seem to suck in general, though.

You're right, but humans wore makeup before the current concept of "society". Consumerism ruins it, of course, I see that. But I see it as a freedom of choice to use makeup. Rather, I'd change peoples' stance towards it to a somewhat more oblivious level. It shouldn't matter whether people wear makeup or not.

Having read the Communist Manifesto, Marx had no comment on metrosexuality or girly men. Only Kim Jong-Il dislikes men with long hair and one could hardly call him a Communist leader.

I'd go with Jacob cause the Edward actor is so oddly shaped I could never find him attractive.
