Why do we need vB3?

Right now I plan to do the upgrade this weekend. :) The upgrade could take a few days so be prepared for that!

I should post an announcement about it tonight or tomorrow.

Hmm, it seems the year is wrong on the forum calender. It says 2004. But that can't be right since we are going to upgrade to Vb3. :p

All I can say is great! haha!

this coming from the guy who said

we will upgrade to 3.0 the day it's available

EDIT: link to quote: TF's lie

Good, it would be nice to finally get this thing upgraded, also would be nice to have an excuse not to come to this site, well, actually, no it wouldn't, but I can do other things!!!

Good news nonetheless, and Archer, Mac OSX is the nicest style, but it does not have the PM fullness indicator bar dealie . . .

Wasn't this to be done a month ago.

Nope, that was upgrade to vB2.35, so we could upgrade to vB3.0.

We needed to upgrade to 2.35 before 3.0, apparently . . .

I know, and wasn't 3.0 to be one week later?

It was, but things get busy . . . that strange thing called "time" was being illusive for TF, apparently . . .

I thought telefragged handled the updates?

EDIT: I was gonna ask how TF purchases the Software, with his own money, or something, but then I realized that the Ads at the bottom much pay for it. Silly me . . .

I believe TF mentioned once how the software is purchased, but after searching for it I didn't find it. I was probably looking in the wrong place.

It would be interesting to see the breakdown of income versus outcome.

I think vB3 is a conspiarcy to make webmasters pay yearly subscriptions in order to get the upgrade. See, TF said that it was supposed to come out in December 2002. Now it's May 2004, 16 months or so after he said it would come out. So TF had to buy an extra year subscription waiting to get vB3!

</Microsoft tactics>

Well, I never did. That really bothered me, not knowing how full my PMs were, which eventually led me to *gasp!* change to the Dark Blue . . .

Wow. Looks like I was the catalyst for a major around here. I feel so influential right now. Think I'll head over to the Middle East for a bit and see what I can sort out.
