Why Is Alexander such a *squeek*

Seriously - every 5 turns or so he pops up just to troll me with some inane comment about my army, economy or empire "size". It is also no wonder every other IA seems to want me to go to war with him.

Alexander is the in-game version of a troll. He can be at war with Russia with you on his border and he can be down to his capital in that war and he will still troll your military size despite controlling half the continent.

I've had this problem several times, to the point where I amass a military and wipe him out on first contact. However, today I found him, and he is not hostile to me in the least, and is focusing on maintaning good diplomatic relationships.

I haven't been trolled by Alex yet, but I did have Askia calling my military the laughing stock of the world... on turn 7 of the game, before I had time to build a second warrior

Suleiman likes to troll my culture frequently, whereas Clinton...err...Washington habitually asks me to start wars with Napoleon that he himself has no intention of joining, and Wu is rather flirty. Also, Alexander strikes me as a "fruity" sort of person, if you catch my meaning.

Well she is better than ol' Alex the spear polisher. He just trolls and trolls but he hasn't DoW'd on me yet. If he is gonna be bellicose he may as well back it up.

Alexander's usually one of my best and most trustworthy allies. At least, until my Bollywood game where he settled a bunch of cities on my borders, complained that I was encroaching on his territory, then declared war on me the next turn.
