But apparently not for everyone.

It's not a particularly vital topic. Hence the immediate derail into Christmas songs, or not, of a possibly bluesy nature, or not.

Cowboy swing is an oft forgotten genre which played an important role in the development of rock and roll, according to some.

I can't say I'm fond of it. (Mind you, I don't claim to know what I'm talking about either. edit: Apparently, according to wiki Cowboy swing died out by 44. So what that song can be classified as, I don't know. Maybe some kind of C&W. edit2: rockabilly it is then.)
