Why isn't Phi/Ind in the game?

Yeah, I know what they were thinking, but I just disagree with it :) The leaders aren't balanced and someone has to be the most powerful, so why not ind/phil :)

Just curious but what are the other 2 missing combos?
Just yesterday i was about to start a new game thinking of what leader i wanted to play when i soon thought "IND/PHI" sadly i looked up and down that list for a good 5mins in dissapointment. I dont get why they would leave out any combos!
It should be a persons choice if they want that advantage/disadvantage or not especially with a single player game... I know some people play MP but really how hard would it be to set a banlist of leaders you didnt want ingame at the beginning of a MP match if its that big of a deal. *shrugs

So, now my question is were these other two combo's omitted for the same reason or are they incidental? I actually think PHI+IND could work with the USA, late UU and late UB would help to offset the advantage and I agree that just because it opens an avenue of exploitation does not mean it should not be included, as seen with Boudicea. Nobunaga as Org+Pro I think could fit.

Cha+Cre would make an awful strong starter. +1-2 happy and rapidly expanding borders. Also both traits which grows near redundant later (only their added effect outside what I outlined has relevance later).

Org+Pro I don't see, mayhaps there just wasn't room? Or they thought it too weak?

the advantage of crea is in conflict with the advantage of cha though imo. being able to skip monuments/stonehenge is one of the main effects of crea. having to build them/it to get the extra 1 :) for cha kinda sucks imo.

Easily fixed. Give them % discount on obelisks, and/or StoneHenge.

I don't care about Cha/Cre Conflicting bonuses, I'd still build Monuments for the +1 Happy, their cheaper then Temples and any other Happy producing buildings (from my memory)

But if you really picky about it, then pick one of the Civs with a UB as a monument, Egypt, Native Americans or Epothia (can't spell :S) for the Cha/Cre Combination, Look at Hatty, she's creative and I still build Oblisk with her.

BtS design doc actually cited this as the reason Cha/Cre was left out. Load of crap if you ask me.

Just give them a unique building that replaces the culture bonus with something different.

Change the Celt UB to the monolith, they built Stonehenge after all didnt they? Give it the same crappy bonus that dunns have and add a third leader for them with Cha/Cre, cant think of one though.

I know!!! that Gaulish druid from La Téne who was sort of a diplomatic contact with Julius Caesar, the french Celts or Gauls where much more spiritual and intellectual that their English counterparts. Its just that the Dunns suck so bad, I hate building walls and the Dunns effect is negligible and circumstantial, I rarely ever build the Celtic UB.

If you change it the way I say both Boudicca and the new leader would benefit from it extensively, not to mention Brennus who isnt Creative can still take advantage from Stonehenge/Monuments.

I would love to see Phi/Ind implemented.

I'm a Gandhi lover and lately i've been trying to pull off cultural victories. If he got this combo, he would be guarenteed both Pyramids and The Oracle.
