Colombia is a prosperous country, or it was. The year is 1989, Armed Conflict has ravaged the country for 25 years, and it's about to take a turn for the worse. For years, the FARC (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia) and ELN (Ejército de Liberación Nacional) have had a guerrila campaign against the government in Bogota. Now, the situation is about to take a turn for the worse.

Cocaine Kilo
The cocaine business has been booming, and now 2 cartels, the cartel of Cali and Medellin, are fighting it out for control of the traffiking business. The leader of the Medellin Cartel is notorious criminal Pablo Escobar. Pablo is highly wanted by the Colombian Government and the United States Drug Enforcement Agency.

This scenario is about Colombia during the time period. The main focus is the Colombian Civil War, but a small distraction is Pablo Escobar.

The three main sides:
The Government (Colombia, United States)
The Drug Cartels (Cali Cartel, Medellin Cartel)
The Rebels (FARC, ELN)

Other Players:
Panama, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru (All Non-Playable)

With each playable civ, you have a different set of goals. (Victories will be house victories)

Colombia:1. Quall Rebels, 2. End Cocaine Trafficking, and 3. Capture Pablo Escobar.
United States: 1. Kill Pablo Escobar and 2. End Cocaine Trafficking into US (via Panama).
Cali Cartel: 1. Eliminate Medellin Cartel and Pablo Escobar and 2. Ship Cocaine to Panama.
Medellin Cartel: 1. Ship Cocaine to Panama, 2. Evade Law Enforcement, and 3. Destroy Cali Cartel.
FARC: 1. Bring Communism to Colombia
ELN: 1. Bring Bogota to its knees.

Map is almost done. Outline by amesjustin, and I'm filling in the interior. I've also got 90% of the units I need in the correct folders, but at my snail pace, this won't be released until Summer 2007, at earliest.

Tis a shame to see this mod go the way of... well my old X-Mod (with The Great Zoo)! Would've been nice to see a map I at least contributed to be used in a scenario. I'll have to be satisfied with my scant resource and tnt offerings... for now.

Red Door - if this mod is ever resuscitated let me know - so long as you are in no rush (and I don't think you are at this point), I wouldn't mind finishing up that map, I've perfected a technique that can be very accurate. I'm too busy to take on anything new but I consider this unfinished work.
