Hi there!
I'm also portuguese and I like the idea someone with your quality is modding Portugal
(Genghis.Khan didn't notice you're also portuguese)
Just wanted to share some thoughts
1) the icon doesn't seem right, green and yellow suits best for Brazil, and to refer to the Portuguese Empire I'd go for a cross (this cross)
2) UU - Bandeirante, in the idea of Bandeirante I believe it would be best as a replacement of an explorer (upgrade to the scout) - in my own mod I've named it Explorador, replacing the Musketman, ignores terrain cost
3) UU - Carrack, not exactly a Caravel, more an upgrade to it in a way it was nedeed to transport a lot of things and in a secure way. So I made it slower than the Caravel, a bit stronger and since it was the Portuguese discoveries that launched Europe into Renaissance I enabled it with Compass
4) Feitoria, not a building, but a cheap stronghold market warehouse outpost (one of King João II invention's, the Carracks would transport all the required materials already marked and with instructions, a medieval IKEA
), here I would love to see it as a terrain improvement, but that's harsh. But being as it its it fits best as a replacement to the Harbour, rather than the Market, mainly because it was build on the coast or near a river (is it possible to make a building able to be built on the coast or river?)
5) Leader choice, personally I prefer King Manuel, he's the one who consolidated Portugal into an Empire and Civilization
6) Facing the fact that this Portugal his way over turned to the sea, my thought for the trait is a way to turn it a bit to the land...
7) Wonder - are you interested?
Sorry for the long post, need any help (in any other civ, etc)?
PS: in my mod I'm using JanBoruta's icons, but instead of a blue cross is a red one
