Got today's Wordle in 3 by blind luck: 1 yellow on Guess 1, but 3 greens on Guess 2. That made it easy
SpoilerMonday June 20th :
ADIOS
Spoiler...because if I show it, the answer will be obvious :
INLET
INPUT
Quordle went 6/7/4/9, due to a whimsical Guess 5, and a stupid Guess 8
Spoiler:
CLOUD
MIGHT
SABRE
Spoiler:
_ _ _ _ T plus U, S, B, R = BURST
I, T, A, R, ? ≠ TAPIR
T _ _ I _ plus A, R, ? = TRAIN (yeah, would probably have been more sensible to try that one first...)
_ I _ _ N plus L, E, ? = LINEN
S _ _ E _ plus P, ?, ? = SLEEP ( *facepalm* totally overlooked that I'd already eliminated the "L")
S _ E E P plus ? = SWEEP
Today in 4, yesterday in 6.
But Quordle... today 4, 6, 7, FAIL, yesterday 4, 5, 6, FAIL.
Spoiler:
There was no way I could have found OUTDO. I already figured that there's probably more than 1 O in there, but really couldn't get there.

I sometimes go with two words for the opener if two is enough to get me a significant amount of information about the puzzle, but if not, I'll go to word three. Tells me which vowels are in the puzzle and most of the most common consonants as well.
You get a new screenshot after a wrong guess, and (I'm assuming) the shots get progressively more identifiable/iconic with each failed attempt. I fluked today's solution on my 2nd guess, despite never having seen the movie in question -- but I bet I know what the last shot would have been...

I threw out total random guesses for the first two screenshots, then on the third looked at one of the characters in the crowd and thought "hey is that the actress from <movie>?" and it turned out I was right. Pics 4-6 were a lot more obvious.
