Work in progess and Previews

I guess I can just put a bronze age figure on a horse, but I don't know much about the historical accuracy of it or when the Koreans began to ride horses instead of using the small Mongolian ponies for chariots.

Right now I plan to finish Korea, revisit Ancient Japan, and finish up my Medieval Japan pack. With a bit of minor side projects as well. Really medieval Korea I think is going to be hard, their costumes and armor seem complex and flamboyant and I don't know if I have the props for them. But of course at civ scale I can get away with a lot.

Looks excellent. I think the look is good enough for the ancient and classical periods. Based on the artifacts excavated, the ceramic models of horsemen figurines found in the former Gaya regions may be fairly accurate on how the cavalry looked (without the spout, of course ;) ).

The Goryeo and Joseon period armored cavalry should be similar to those of the Mongol heavy cavalry and Ming heavy cavalry respectively. The difference is in the officers' attire - Korean military leaders have the distinctive red uniform and the Korean-style hat.

Minor Update (I can't wait to finish this pack and move on -_ -; )

Cool, Korean units are a great idea and I'm really looking forward to them.

Looks like a ton of work, but well worth it! They look great!:goodjob:

I have been game testing my Korean units, and I keep having some problems, so I am going to test them on my other PC and if they work fine, then I know its just my laptop.

Also I have been working on a Chinese chariot, but I don't know what the warriors should look like, I am still not happy with their current models, But once I am done, I may make an African, Celtic, Greco-Roman, and Hindu version.

Looks good to me. Maybe matching the looks to Sandris's Chinese units for a little more reference?

ps: Glad to see the Korean units are still coming along. :)
