I have to pic ... with no doubt ... the Virtual Boy... oh god... what a piece of crap that was ...incredible .. I remember ... the first time I played it , it was in Wal Mart and I thought it was malfunctioning or something was wrong ... and I was inocent enough to ask the wal mart clerk if it was something wrong with it.... :rotfl:

opinions?

i dislike the wii personally

N-Gage, hands down.

why its the funnest thing ever

for the most part , i dont like its game library( altough super smash bros is incredibly fun)
and i dont like the controller, also its not as powerful as the other two console leading to poorer grpahics.

Complaining about Wii's graphics is like complaining a Honda Civic doesn't drive like a Porsche. Wii was never about performance; it does what it was built for and it does it fantastically.

Sega Saturn was pretty strongly disliked.

This was the first thing I thought of upon seeing this thread.

I wasn't too fond of the Sega Dreamcast, either, but that was mostly because of its game library.

EDIT: I'd like to change my answer to GameCube. It was so horrible that I forgot about it completely!

GAME CUBE ROCKS. THAT IS ALL.

The demise of games consoles is pretty interesting. The Atari Lynx did extremely poorly, because of lack of games and because it was a poor design, so Atari abandonded it and started focusing on the Jaguar. Then the Jaguar did extremely poorly, because of lack of games and because the controller was an abomination, so it abandoned the console market altogether. The Sega consoles were always a long way behind the equivalent Nintendos in terms of sales, and therefore in terms of games as well; a similar pattern to Jaguar's demise was followed by Sega. The Saturn did poorly, so they focused on the Dreamcast. Both failed because of lack of games. I'd argue that the Dreampants also failed because the controller was too big and ugly.

THAT IS ALL.

So that's what was stoled...

The NES.

Some might disagree with me, but try being the only kid with an 8 bit system while everyone else in class had the newer 16 bit Sega Genesis and then upgraded to N64's and Playstation's! AND I UPGRADED MY NES WITH A GAMECUBE! :aargh:

Everyone hated the Saturn except for Sega of Japan. Even Sega of America hated it, and they demanded a new console to replace it. Before the Saturn came out, Sony offered Sega their console to sell as the next Sega console, but Sega of Japan refused. The Saturn along with the odd Mega Drive add ons helped alienate Sega from the American market, and many distributors refused to sell the Saturn (and the Dreamcast), and after the Saturn failed, Electronic Arts refused to develop games for the Dreamcast.

Coleco-vision maybe?

The worst is going to have to be one of the early gaming platforms from the early 80s that was obscenely expensive for what it did.

Nothing in the last decade could/should come close to being the 'worst ever'.
