Whether or not you are convinced by a certain amount of evidence has no bearing over whether or not another person is convinced by that evidence. Rationally, we should all form the same basic level of evidence for a given subject, but humans do not always act logically. And of course, it still has no bearing over whether or not a person should objectively be convinced a certain amount of evidence, but we arn't talking about what we should do - we're talking about what's actually done.
