your kidding right!

Why would I be kidding? She and I have been living together for nearly two years, and one of her two daughters moved in with us (from her ex-husband's house in the midwest) a few months ago. Her other daughter got married recently.

Lucky, I wished I could find someone :(.

I wouldn't, because i'm only 19 and I couldn't handle kids right now or anytime in the near future.

If I was older and out of college and have a good paying job, I would be a little resentfull on dating a divorcie or a single mother that gotten pregnent in a non-marrital sex. Since I dont want to rase someone elts kid. If the Divorcie/Single Mother is willing to have another child, then I wont mind. Though I would be a little resentfull on dating a woman who has a kid because then I would not only need the woman's approval to marry, I would need the kid's approval.

Also, I see it as unneccisary baggage. But this is me talking if I was in my mid-late 20s to my 30s.

of course, I love kids :)

As long as they were open to the possibility of having children with me.

EDIT: Craaaaaap I voted the stupid Monkey option.

 Now the Radioactive monkey feels special ;)

I vote monkeys to make immortal feel better.

I dunno, I think kids would be too huge a responsibility for me. I am too anxious to take care of my self sometimes.

I have chosen to fly solo in life - And am glad to have made that choice.

How do you purpose that you may achieve total air superiority if you have no birds in the nest, curt! :D

I guess it depends on how old you are. I'm mid-40's. Not only did I date a lady with those qualifications, I married her. :D

If she asks I'm available! (Vanessa Williams, divorced with 2 kids)

I agree that age should have been the alternate guideline in the poll, as opposed to gender.

Yes, because any guy who manages to keep the kids after a divorce is obviously really amazing to begin with.

(Obviously not now -- I mean in the future.)

No I wouldn't because.

1. They're not my kids.

2. She has already failed at one marrage. I would be suspicious why. Her fault I don't want to know her. Her ex's fault she made stupid decisions. Either way I wouldn't want to be involved.

The glass is also half full - having one failed marriage, she knows where it went wrong and why, and thus would probably be less likely to have a second fail. :)

IIRC, your soon to be wife has more or less grown up kid(s). Would that make a difference?

When I was 8 years old, my mother (32 at that time) married a 25 year old guy (with a FIAT 128 :smug: ) . At the time I really had no idea this was anything special. Right now, I understand that being 32, having 2 kids, and still finding a 25 year old bloke with a FIAT to marry you, simply means my mother is the most superb woman on earth ;) !
A more serious note: I completely fail to see why he did it. Next week they celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary, so all is well :) .
