I agree that both torts are fine, and even necessary. For the pro-life (but not Catholics), both torts can also be used if the doctor fails to tell me & my wife of our Huntington's disease, and her silence means that our offspring has a 25% chance of having a short and horrid life, a 50% chance of having a longer life with a horrid end, or a 25% chance of being an early orphan
My semantic hang-up is the "provable that the life is not worth living". Wouldn't the only proof of that be deliberate suicide?
