Is it updated so that it works with the new Austrailia civ?
See "how to" in second post of first page.Hotseat question
How can I add more than 12 (11 AI) players to the Greatest Earth Map?
yes, remove beta 1 if you use steam version (or upgrade to beta 2 from here if you don't use steam, beta 1 is not compatible with the Australian patch)sorry if already answered but...do I need to delete my beta1 version from the My Games folder before I go to Steam Workshop and add it as a mod. Also, haven't heard anything weird happening with the Australia DLC because I'm going to get it as well.
I'll try to change the number in map setting so it can be raised, but there will always be a part of randomness... unless you use the "only European Civilization" sub-mod. (note that you still have to set up the major civs manually with this version)Gedemon,
I love the mod, and prefer to play on your map packs above all else. I loved the Civ V Europe map and had hours of fun. I have been playing your Europe map as well. I asked on page 73 about a problem with city-states. I do not know why, but it seems that TSL on the city-states is somewhat random. They spawn in the proper place, however, they do not always all spawn. I have games with as few as 5 city-states out of the entire list of expanded Europe. I keep the close city-states (Brussels, Amsterdam & Geneva); yet, that is random on whether they spawn or not. Another issue, on the set up option, you can select having the city-states and AI not have settlers and be replaced with cities; this does not happen. I'd love to see this issue with city-states fixed; some of those bonuses are well worth it, and it hurts when the city-states does not exist.
Respectfully,

Any gameplay XML file will do, but the fastest/easiest way is to edit those Map.xml files in the map's folderHey, total noobie here. Could someone post a before-and-after example of where exactly I need to modify the XML and SQL code to add a new civ? The file I'm altering is the Map.xml file for the respective map... correct? lol.
Thanks for the precision about the size, I'll have a look. Internet should work, AFAIK the problem is only on LAN.When I select "Giant Earth" in multiplayer setup. No one can join!
When I pick greatest earth they can. With greatest earth the client "Local network games" screen also shows "Game Speed" and "additional content - yes" but
with Giant Earth not.
largest earth is also multi player compatible but I don't want to try that multiplayer .. to big.
Giant would be perfect but it's not MP compatible![]()
No map script planned ATM, but any scripts (like detailed worlds) that does not replace assignstartingplots.lua should work with YnAMP sizes and options.Gedemon, If you have not heard me sing your praises, I do and will continue. I have a question perhaps you know. I liked a map option in Civ V that was called 'big and small' or 'small continents'. Personally I would like to keep your maps sizes and add on mods but have the option for those two map types. I currently use your mods and use regular Continents or Fractal on Enormous.
I'll try to change the number in map setting so it can be raised, but there will always be a part of randomness... unless you use the "only European Civilization" sub-mod. (note that you still have to set up the major civs manually with this version)
I'd like the lua.log if the enforce TSL option is not working after launching a new game.
Anyone else had crashes in mid game (around 1500) with the main YNAMP mod and mod leaders/civs both enabled? I've consistently had mid game crashes when both are active but disabling the main YNAMP mod seems to alleviate these. Something well worth looking into I think.
I've been using the following:
Firebug's Napoleon III and Ashoka
JFD's Nicholas II
Sukritact's Hadrian
Leugi's Anna Nzinga
Rob's Punt
Priot to the latest patch I was using Denmark, the Sikhs, Ukraine and Anglo Saxons and having similar crashes. Can't identify the problem in the logs.
Edit - game without YNAMP crashed around 1700ad... This game just does not handle mods well.
That one is annoying. I get that sometimes in non-YNaMP games also, so not sure if it's a Firaxis bug with the DLC civs, or some kind of weird thing related to the mod. When i apply mod poland and australia subtitles are not in english, someone please help a brother out how to fix this. Thanks bunches.
I played a big map on the decomber update. it does crash now. what can i do?
Got quite far into a marathon game on the Giant map (I usually play greatest earth), but I gave up eventually because I realized the AI didn't fight a single significant war in all of history. There were border skirmishes, but not one city ever changed hands. When I finally checked the replay screens, nobody had really lost more than a couple dozen units in the whole game. This was on Marathon/Emperor. Anyone else seeing the same thing? I'm not sure if it's because the map is too big (seems unlikely, as there were many penned-in civs with only 1-3 cities), or if they toned down the AI in the last patch.
