YnAMP - Yet (not) Another Maps Pack

YnAMP - Development thread Civ6

I don`t have option for setting size of the maps it is lock on Standard. Also some natural wonders are not lading like cliffs of Dover. What should I do and it is for Rise and Fall ?

Hi there!

I'm not sure if anybody else is having the same issue. I downloaded the latest mod as well as I have the latest rise and fall.
I'm unable to play any game. Even if I don't select any of the modded map, I click start and then it comes back to the main menu.

Please help :(

with the fix and the mod downloaded from steam I can play with 35 civ and 27 city state without crash .... if I put even 28 city status crashes immediately started the game.
great earth map without touching the options
sorry for my imperfect English

Can anyone else confirm if it is that DLC workaround fix that causes sound issues?
is there no way to get this mod working without that fix? If one renames the mod folder or changes the .modinfo load order?

Edit: so, if i'm NOT using the DLC fix (thus not having added LoadOrder: 2 entries in their modinfo files), and also removing the LoadOrder: 2 entry from the YnAMP modinfo file, all works as normal, no return to main menu bug.
But, sound bug still exists. Completely vanishes on large maps after 100 or so turns, apart from the ambient wind sounds. Must be a vanilla problem or memory leak with large unsupported maps.

Hi Everyone,
I installed YnAMP mod on my mac through git in the ~/Library/Application Support/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Mods folder.
I restarted the game, activated the mod in "Additional Contents" but no custom or new maps shows in the Game Creation page.

I tried to install it through the zip
and directly in the /Applications/Civ6.app/Contents/Assets/Base/Assets folder too
but nothing changes.

Any advise?

It is my understanding that the fix impacts the following DLC: Australia, Aztec, Indonesia/Khmer, Macedonia/Persia, Nubia, Poland, and Vikings Landmarks.
If you disable these DLC packs from "Additional Contents", you should be able to play without the fix (in my opinion).
Of course, having these additional civilizations in the game makes the game-play more interesting.

111.jpg There was a problem in the modification, when selecting the first pantheon in the window there were no available pantheons. Accordingly, the game can not be continued because the selection of the pantheon can not permanently be skipped

Are you sure that is caused by the modification? There are more civs than pantheons. This issue has been discussed at length in this thread already. Twice. There is a workaround available.

Does it fix the issue with the DLC load order ?

I have not checked yet. Fortunately, I kept a copy of the original files that were modified by the fix.
Let me replace the "fix" files with the original files and try using YnAMP. I will be using the version on GitHub unless specified otherwise.

Edit: The copy of the original files still do not work. But I imagine that the patch probably fixed them. I cannot really tell because I am using the fix which is still working. :)

I still can't get past a 34/25 limit. Hmmm. What other settings are you using? Including resource settings, tsl settings, barbs, and what not.

If turtles only spawn on reefs, and the map has no reefs, will using the 'try to place all resources' feature mess things up, potentially?

edit: and how are you getting 39 civs while not using 3? 34 is every civ except the 2 alternate leaders, so if you are using those, that is still only 36 civs.

I counted up the city-states I normally would have before the xpac, and it comes to 29. So if you are not using barbs, and are mistaken about your civ count, then you are within the # parameters. Assuming you do not actually have 60 city-states appearing on the map.

I apologize, I'm wondering myself how did I get to this number... I have 32 Civs in total, and city states are configured on 60 (max).
Until turn 200 I discovered maybe a third of the world, so I have no idea how many city states actually exists in the game.
So far I met 15 City States and "heard rumors that an unmet city state has been defeated" at least 6-7 times.

Settings are almost default:
Resources - all settings on Import / Standard / Activated (except "all luxuries")
Resources placement - Map generator
TSL - On
Enforce TSL - Off
Use leaders TSL when available - On
Use alternate TSL - On
Allow random placement for civs without TSL - On
Real city naming - On
No Barbarians - Off

It didn't for me. I was hoping the line - "Fixed a crash that could happen when starting a new game under certain conditions." - was going to be a fix, but it doesn't appear so.
Ok, thanks, I'll keep the fix online then.

Tell me how to get around this problem. There is no choice of pantheon in the window

Extra info, I see only 1 "Additional content": Yet (not) Another Maps Pack
I should see more of them?

If the mac version of the game is not updated yet, do not use the github or steam version.
