Your band name: <here>

Some metal band names are the most "inspired" imho :D Just to name a few :

Sarcophaguts, Babylon Mystery Orchestra, The Lands with Metal beasts, Dad They Broke Me, Cactus Hag, A Band of Orcs, ... and my personal favourite

Paladins of the Golden Power Fights with the Great Sword of Eternal Magic and the Great Kings Will  ... Yes it's Norwegian Power Metal band ;)

here's a sample ;)

Spoiler :

I don't think the band name matters that much. Well, unless it makes a point - you can't really have a "curse word" in your name and try to be super mainstream.
But many bands with dumb/boring names became big, due to their music being ok for what it was. Eg Bush (named after a suburb of London), Radiohead (rather boring name, imo; I mean it may mean something deeper, but web wasn't much of a thing when they started) etc.
There are far worse band names, though. Eg "Eye hate god".

Corruption of the Flesh
Canadian Bacon Tuxedo
Ham SAMMICH

Then again some bands have crap names and are crap all around too. Like Gwar :D

You might know them Kyriakos, greek metal band Rotting Christ..
they made some good melodic metal (rough voice, but true for many), and not just me wonders how on earth did they pick that name.

I know them. I don't like them, although one of their songs was catchy.
But the greek metal scene has something like 2000 bands, and possibly they are all garbage :D

You know, I can see how they got popular with non-greeks. He sounds ridiculously artificial if you imagine what he sounds like when speaking greek :D

Anyway, I think this was catchy enough:

but no, I don't like RC at all and view them as posers.

Yep not bad, so you like true metal? ;)

Obviously not. I was never into metal. I just like the sell-out, mainstream stuff :)

It possibly didn't help that a classmate used to play a weird hide and seek game whenever he invited me to his house, and had frightening posters of Iron Maiden's Eddie (mid elementary school).

Of recent metal I actually have heard, I liked this one, which certainly is 1 trillion times better than RC:

when I was in third year of middleschool there was a band in first year called "against everything" and that's stuck with me forever since

Eklectic (spelled incorrectly on purpose)
