True, he did seem to be more concerned about saving Padme than anything, and was thus willing to risk the lives of many to save one.

And I think a lot of people are willing to murder to save a loved one. Just look at Michael . . .

God people cant you see that the jedi code does not apply to real life.

Repeat after me movies are not real.

The jump skill. I would be awesome at basketball, or football.

Please... Thats a movie.. Nobody is going to slaughter all of thier comrades to save thier wife. Except maybe hitler...
Okay, because you know, being the Jedi in the room. Who's to say the Force wouldn't make you fell that way? None of us have ever experienced it, there may be variables we aren't considering, because we don't know about them. What if, when you are in touch with the force, you are more susceptible to things like good and evil influence, because such things flow through the Force? We can't know, only see what it caused to happen.

Oh, and so you know, all this Jedi and force nonsense comes from that same movie.

Then why complain about how unrealistic the Jedi Code is?

Huh? Thats my point i am complaining. People dont agree with me for some reason.

Wait, what?

It seems you are saying the Jedi Code is a bad idea. Then some people say that forming attachments may lead to irrational behavior, providing fictional examples within the fictional Star Wars universe, and demonstrating that in this fictional world the Jedi Code is a good idea. What's the problem?

In Star wars love IS forbidden to the jedis. I dont know why anakin was allowed to marry it really never says. But reading about star wars i know its forbidden in the jedi order.

And its for the reason that somehow.

Love leads to sorrow..

sorrow leads to fear..

fear leads to anger...

anger leads to hatred...

hatred leads to the darkside...

Thats a load of bull because in real life people dont become evil over a lost love except in rare cases where they murder someone.

However its a law that forbids marriage to the jedis. So why have that law if its such a low risk?

If that was relevent then people in the military would not be allowed to be married and so on...

No, see the Jedi Code takes place in a fictional universe, maybe the laws of love and attachment are different.

But theres nothing indicating that? Why would you assume that. Normal people that are not jedis can love so why not jedis?

Eran of Arcadia said:
'Cause they will fall to the Dark Side like Anakin did.

And thats why i say its unrealistic to make a law forbidding something for minority action. :)

All about the lightsaber!

Just think how cool it would look if you were competent with a lightsaber. It would be even cooler if you had Mace Windu's lightsaber :D
The plus side, if youre competent with a lightsaber. Youre pretty much competent with any bladed weapon ;).

I doubt it. Lightsabre weights probably nothing. Isnt the blade light?

So wealding a heavier blade takes more skill and practice.

Moving objects is clearly the best one. Although it takes some concentration, it would be better to get away these days then it would be to stay and fight.

The electricity seems to be used by the dark side, that would be 'other'. Other than telekenesis, I would choose 'other' as the ability to talk to the dead like the good side of the force can. I wouldn't mind talking to Ben Franklin or some other important leader or anyone.

The ability to control other peoples minds would be really helpful, it can aid you in almost any part of life.

I'm going with telekinesis. It would come in handy for lifting heavy stuff, and I could make millions as a professional hitman. Think about it, I'd be perfect, telekenetic choking would leave no finger prints, and I could do it from outside my victims home, which means they couldn't place me at the crime scene. I could also go into the African or South American jungles and make the natives worship me as a god with my powers.

guess im the 1st guy to choose "the choke".

Imagine a series of mysterious "choked" accident happening to ppl around me. :mischief:

Donald Trump: You're Fir...... Arrghhhh, ack....
Me: Rest in peace master.

Remember, the mind tricks only work on the weak-minded so I'm sure it could work on a certain public official.
