Your favourite drink

My favorite drink is water. Alcohol tastes terrible so my favorite alcoholic drink is the one that tastes the least alcoholic while still containing a good amount of alcohol (cause the whole point of drinking is to get alcohol into your system). I don't drink much so my tolerance is nice n' low.

Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale. Though it's not really much like an IPA; it's quite a bit milder.

When it comes to wine, I'm a sucker for a good Gewurztraminer.

alcoholic: Newcastle brown ale

non-alcoholic: water or orange juice

Non-alcoholic: Water, Coke, hot tea, "throwback" Pepsi products (With real sugar!)
Alcoholic: Whiskey/rum and coke, Long Island Iced Tea.

Mexican Coca-cola? What's that?
And Root beer actually, I've never tried that...
Never had root beer? Really? Well, I guess it is sort of an American thing...but it's actually quite good. Although sort of weird, now that I think about it.

Beer + whiskey.

Soft drinks: Dr Pepper, Coke and Fanta. But I barely drink them nowadays :(

MILKSHAKE. I had a genuine obsession with McDonalds Strawberry milkshake for about 6 months. Was having about...4 a week... dreadful.

I think in England it's called Ginger Beer.

Ginger beer and root beer are different, actually. Ginger beer was originally flavoured with ginger; root beer was originally flavoured with sassafras.

I used to be obsessed with their Shamrock Shakes, until I read that those have the same amount of calories as about 50 strips of bacon. So I'll just save those calories for actual bacon rather than using them up with fripperies like Shamrock Shakes.

For me, at a pub? I'm drinking beer, then, and the choice depends on the season. Given that it's springtime here, I'll probably order the local hefeweizen or a similar lighter ale. In the fall or winter, generally porters, dopplebocks, or stouts (especially imperials).

This is why america is morbidly obese.

That looks delicious, though. Also, when I come up with my own milkshake, I'll be sure to include crustaceans in the ingredients.

Alcoholic: dirty Bombay Sapphire martini, stirred, not shaken
Non-alcoholic: Coke

That seriously makes me want to puke...

(Which I suppose is convenient if you were bulemic.)

That seriously makes me want to puke...

Yeah. Every time I catch myself craving a delicious milkshake, I just imagine that same shake cup filled with five dozen strips of greasy bacon, which has two beneficial effects: (A) it's a visual reminder of just how unbelieveably fattening those shakes are, and (B) it redirects my cravings to sweet, delicious bacon.
