What is your favourite language, other than your own? What language sounds more pleasing to you? You don't need to know a language in order to like it.
My pick would be Italian. It's just sounds so beautiful and romantic!

Pick your favourite! :)

Finally, you made a poll! :) Me too, italian is the best

Alright! Italian is leading with 2 votes!!! :goodjob:

The language of desire :groucho:

Two words: Monica Bellucci

Ah the joys of google:

Hell YEAH!

I'm from Italy

nnnaaaaaaaa!

but I voted Spanish because it is more useful and I speak it fluently (I don't speak italiano that well)

I must confess--euphonic though my beloved Arabic is, it could never, EVER beat Italian in a sound-off.

I will, however, take this opportunity to say that I love Spanish too, if spoken by a Spaniard; it sounds like Italian with a quiet, elegant lisp (and I know some Italians who say that's what Italian is)

I like the sound of romance languages in general. If pressed to choose one of them I'll go with Spanish. Can't say exactly why, it just sound nice. (that might have to do with the fact that to my ear it sounds more exotic than french or italian, since those are very common around here).

Voted French - although the exotic "Porugese" sounds rather interesting, whatever language it might be. :mischief:

other- gaelic! you have to hear it spoken properly! its sounds sooo.. purpousful, yet lazy in its own way too..

That is curious since i think that the Spanish accent from Spain is the most different from the italian accent among all the Spanish accents. Italian phrases have a "musical" entonation as some latin america accents, however Spanish from Spain has not. OTOH I find Spanish accent from Argentina very similar to Italian.

Spanish because even though it is not my native language I speak it pretty well. Of course, I am used to Mexican accents (which do not sound pretty by any means of the imagination, unless spoken by an attractive woman) and I think the accents of Spain are funny.
